I find it amusing as well. My wife just uses the term "caged".
"Chaste", in my opinion, isn't
quite right. There's a connotation, or at least, an implied lack of sexual thought and deed which seems incongruous with our idea of using these devices as sex toys, or, if you will, devices to enhance sexual and emotional intimacy.

Unable Semen?
To open this up further; what phrase would be appropriate for a lengthy period of chastification?
I've always liked 'monastic' but the more correct definition would be 'monkish'.

How about 'retainer'?
As well as the dental usage, it can be taken to mean someone kept in the service of another.

Chaste: pure in thought and act.
Perhaps in act, but when it comes to pure thoughts... Nary a one is to be found in my head.

Off on a tangent:
Wines are laid down until they become 'vintage'.
Cheese is stored until it has 'matured'
Whisky is 'aged'.
What are we?

MU?
I'm taking that as 'messed up'. Hell yes! The rest of my life got corralled (there's a word that needs looking at) into normality - allow me this slice of stupidity. It's not hurting anyone and it's even making a few of us happy.
Back on topic:
Pinion: an alternate for 'shackle' but what I really like about it is that it's what 'opinion' becomes when the 'O' is removed. It also works quite well as a noun and sits between 'minion' and 'pillion'.

I think it is Japanese meaning "nothing" or "non existent" but not certain...
