Lancelot construction

I am new to chastity. So far I tried the BON4 and have locked myself up in the Holy Trainer 2. And it is a thrill! As this is turning into a costly matter I am currently in the process of building my own devices. I am a trained blacksmith, welder and mechanical engineer. I almost finishid a sort of Jailbird. It was fun overcoming the technical difficulties. My next goal is to built myself a chainmail device (I made historical replicas with chainmail before), inspired on the Lancelot. This device is awesome but out of my financial league.
Could anyone shed a light on the Lancelot contruction? I have several options for fastening the chainmail to the ring. But, how is the Original done? Could anyone post a pic?
I am not a business a do not intend to become that in the future.

In looking at it I honestly don't know how it's attached and I'm not so sure anyone here wears one.

Doesn't seem to be winning any popularity contest here. I think there was one guy who had one, but it was a long time ago.

A few years ago we had a guy with a Lancelot, but he wasn't crazy about it, and ended up selling the thing.
