Sore balls not from chafing -- advice??

Post by Her-sub-in-training »

No matter the ring size we use, my balls get really swollen & sore (blue balls). It gets to the point where I can hardly walk & I'm not overly sensitive to pain.... Any solutions that yall can suggest? Thanks & btw, hello! I'm new & so is dom617, my KY.

Tried the cb6000s w/ 2 largest rings, jailhouse w/ 1.75 ring, several hinged ring devices, etc... Thing is that as I get more turned on & time passes they swell a lot & just get REALLY painful. Beyond the point that I can even try to hide it. If minor, I can walk it out. But it's gotten to where it has stopped play a few times altogether needing to take it off. Not just my balls but the "tubes" descending from my abdoment on either side that connect.... I am pretty new to longer wear (6 days max so far) but this has been the reason. Ice?? Ruined?? Milked?? Rest?? Can't be the only one...

Have you tried adjusting the spacer length with the CB? The spacers adjust the space from the bottom of the tube to the base ring.

If the cage is to close this will cause a similar problem. This allows more space for the guys who hang high.

Google is your friend- search "blue balls" + relief.

Eventually, you may become more accustomed to both the situation and the condition and find that the occurrence decreases and your tolerance increases.

I think you need to take it off if it is causing swelling and pain. It should not be painful. You need to find a way to adjust it or get a different device, in my opinion.

FWIW, until I got a custom sized device, the longest I could go was 5 or 6 days. The blue balls pain became too great for me to be comfortable enough to live a normal life. The 2" CB 3000 ring simply wasn't quite big enough, and when I did get my mature metal, the base ring that I got is 2 3/8" - plus the MM base ring is also thinner which helps a lot. So, you might simply need a larger base ring to wear it longer than 5 or so days.

It is very interesting how the body adjusts to chastity over time too. I have found that if I'm left out for a couple of weeks I become a much better shower than if I've been locked up a lot. Everything (at full staff) is 100% the same, but my relaxed state does vary after longer periods of chastity.

I've been trying the "Valsalva Maneuver" with some subjective success. It may be placebo, but I'll take whatever relief I can get! It's apparently not that rare of a recommended method if you google it for more info. Maybe it'll assist others?!?

"The easiest way to relieve the symptoms of blue balls is ejaculating. The resultant ejaculation jump-starts the sympathetic nervous system, which increases blood flow through the penis area, dissipating the fluid buildup. Even without orgasm, the symptoms of blue balls usually subside within an hour of onset, but they can also last much longer, up to 12 hours or longer in men older than 40. While well known in folklore, there was scant information in the medical literature until an article by Chalett and Nerenberg in Pediatrics 2000 which found little formal data regarding the condition but concluded that "the treatment is sexual release, or perhaps straining to move a very heavy object—in essence doing a Valsalva maneuver."[2] Simply lying down can also sometimes help the pain associated with blue balls.

One folk remedy for blue balls is the cold shower. Putting cold substances on the crotch supposedly helps. Coolnurse.com states that "the cool water of the shower would stimulate new warm blood to the scrotum," but local cooling might instead work by causing arterioles in the scrotal skin to constrict, thus decreasing blood flow to those tissues and allowing fluid to leave the congested areas.[3] Sometimes pseudoephedrine can help quicken the process."

Have you tried just wearing the base ring without the cage? Do whatever it takes to get good and aroused with just the ring to see if the pain is still there. If no pain then your spacing with the cage is too tight. If you have pain with just the ring, you need a larger size ring and still maybe more spacing. Even 1/8 of an inch can make a huge difference. The larger the size you can get away with the better.

I moved up from a 1 7/8' base ring to 2" and it's like night and day. I don't think you can get a larger ring than 2" with off-the-shelf devices.

You might need a ring larger than 2" or you might need a longer spacer. Both base ring size and gap can be make or break issues.
Past Devices: Curve & CB 6000s. Both broke, were repaired; then broke beyond repair. I threw the dreaded Spiked Chamber away.
Current Devices: MM Jail Bird, Cobra, MM Watchful Mistress, Holy Trainer v3, and a new Curve.
