Hi,
You can email your symptoms. A quick answer is-----burning is gap too small, testicle pop through is gap too big. There is another easy thing to try when you are unsure of the problem (gap vs ring size)
A proper fitting ring should allow 1 finger to be inserted under the ring WHEN you are at your normal flaccid size AND only wearing the base ring. We will always ask you to try that.
Thanks

Just as an aside, I originally had a JB, with 1/2" gap with oval 1-7/8 base ring. Well, as mentioned, the oval ring reduced the "gap" at the bottom, which was too small with my cage diameter. So MM said before sending it back, if you have a vise, you can squash it back to round. And voila! it worked. So I moved on to a PT, smaller cage diameter/length but same base ring size. Well, as with others, as things progress, smaller base ring and/or gaps seem to give a better fit. I discovered that my JB ring with PT cage gave a 3/8 gap and snugger fit … but the gap at the bottom was bigger and after several months, I had a pop-out one nite. So I thought I may need to drop back an 1/8 in on the base ring. Then it hit me, squash it back to oval and the bottom gap is smaller. And again, it worked (is working). So if your cage and base ring diameters are within 3/8" (note with the 1/4 rod used this makes the gap even closer at the bottom) I would go with a round ring or bigger gap. But the ability to adjust the ring from round to oval offers a way to test the change and save some $/time. I guess you could even squash the ring to oval vertically to increase the bottom gap. That said, I have some background in working with metals (enough to be dangerous). So you can't simply squash the ring in a vise and pull it out seconds later. I defer to MM to go into "cold" working the ring advice. And I am sure repeated cold :? vise working on the ring has limits. Hopefully I haven't confused the matter further. :?

From MM:

"OK I read it. yes if you make your oval ring round it will give a slightly larger gap. But the oval is in my and most customers opinion more comfortable. So instead of making it round it may be better to just open the gap a little."

I'm "high and tight" too and have no problem with my MM Watchful Mistress I actually tightened up the gap a little with no problems. My device is 1 3/8" ID X 1 3/4" long and I use a 1 3/4" ring. Very satisfied with it. :)

OK I've been wearing my new JB for two weeks now, the last week with a 3/8" gap ring (which I couldn't wear with my QK). As suspected, I put it down to the rounded nature of the ring on the JB cage vs the flat bar on the QK.

I now have three base rings BTW! I wanted to see if I could go smaller so my new ring is 1-5/8" which I wore for the first week. Managed but a bit tight. Might try again when the weather warms up!

The other thing I noticed is that even though my QK and JB were specified the same length, the JB is effectively shorter (which fortunately, I like better).

I believe this is because MM measures down the centre of the cage (they confirmed this) but you specify the length by measuring from the base of your penis (not the centre) to the tip.

Because the JB is angled down significantly more than the QK, the distance from the base of the ring (measured from the ring itself) to the cage tip is substantially shorter (about 1/4" in my case).

Overall, I like both devices but am surprised that so far, I actually like the JB better for me. Better comfort, easier to clean, again, for me. ymmv.

Im the same with My BC6Ks im High and tight.

Ive tried all combinations with rings and spacers but always the same results ether too tight of a ring and stops circulation or the Right testicle will pull towards the body and cause serious pain that i need to ask to be released or to use a bigger ring only for my testicle to do the same again only to pop back behind the ring again causing serious pain as it happens.
I can wear it at home and asleep at night but ill always need a key close by if this continues and my KH is getting annoyed as she is wanting it to be more Full-time wear (inc Work)

We do have a M300 chrome device but the cage was too long and had only one ring,i think its better but we will be getting a short cage to fit it and more rings for a more complete choice of fitting.
