Cobra viper with sizing ring

[*]DH first cage is a Kink3D Viper with a size XD 3 ring. He is high and tight. Overnights has had several ball slips. Ouch! After getting Quite Excited while trying a size 2 sizing ring from MM, I suggested he try putting the cage back on while keeping the sizing ring on too. Worked like a charm. No ball escape last night. Have a size 2 base ring on order now. We are working our way toward the MM Jailbird and I’m doing searches about double rings.

High and tight here also. I’ve seen some folks say they have winter base ring and summer base ring. It seems to help me to have a larger one for colder temperatures as well. Underwear selection also makes a big difference for me. And then the stretching of ball sack skin is a factor too, over time. Lots of variables so enjoy exploring!

We are waiting in the size 2 regular from Kink3D. Still hasn’t shipped, grrr. They came out with the Artic White color so must be swamped. Starting to regret my decision to do business with the OG company instead of a knock off. Sigh.

I’m impatient to get to the MM ordering. Keeping clean is more difficult in the Viper than I expected—perhaps not meant for 24/7. The cage is thick with more coverage than the original and with smaller gaps. He is cut but still pulls back into himself along his shaft when flaccid so that had gotten a bit stinky which freaked him out. Can’t have that!

When it gets here I’ll be really interested to see if a single smaller ring holds, and we will be able to test that with the MM sizing ring if not. At first DH thought pinching was from small ball gap, but that has seems to have resolved with the double ring. I think you’re exactly right about the stretching of the ball sack skin.

Thanks for the reminder about seasonal rings. I remember now you had mentioned that in a prior post.

I had similar issues with the 2 standard ring.
Got the 2 XD ring and no more escapes.
Morning and before bed I put a couple drops of silicone lube on the base ring and eliminated the pinching.
Of course still get the ball pull during attempted nighttime erections...

I just edited the original post to add that we started with the XD size 3 ring. Because that was supposed to address the high and tight. But it led to pinching of the ball sack skin, combined with ball escape. Weird, right? Both pinching and escape?
I should add the ball escape only happened at night when he was asleep.
Somehow adding the size 2 sizing ring in front of the size 3 XD ring relieved that pinching. Size 2 regular ring is en route.

So got the size 2 base ring for the Viper. Had ball escape overnight. And even though the ball gap is the same between the size 3 XD and the size 2, the pinching seemed better, probably due to getting used to it.
Then tried it with the size 2 sizing ring added behind the cage. Was ok for a couple of nights but then experienced some bruising around his ball sack, lower sides and bottom. So out of the cage for 3 nights so far, might put it back tomorrow if fully healed, and with the size 3 sizing ring and size 2 base ring.
We are ok with taking it carefully since we both want this to work.

Wanted to note that even though the MM sizing rings and the Kink3D base rings stated circumference is the same, IRL they don’t quite match up.

So got the size 2 base ring for the Viper. Had ball escape overnight.

I had the similar issues.
When I was young developed a herniated testicle.
Subsequently (after the surgery), "Leftie" is higher and tighter than the right.
He used to be the escape artist. Even with the 2XD ring which has the smallest ball gap they have.
If I could just make the left side gap a little tighter...
So I made a fixture that held the top and right side of the ring so that the left side can be adjusted closer to the cage.

Boiled the base ring for 10 minutes:

And clamped it in the fixture to cool.

It reduced the gap on the left side by ~2mm.
It worked quite well. Not an escape since.

Couple more questions
This is Kink3D? I ask because apparently the materials used to print are different with different manufacturers.
How long did you boil? And then how long did you clamp?

I want to get this ball gap/ball escape solved before we try custom. If anyone thinks this is misguided please speak up?
But we are definitely also going to lose the Viper. The combo of sharp down angle and really thick “sidewalls” of the cage held against his high and tight sack is causing wicked chafing.
I guess the upside of not having old man dangly balls is working against us here.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have a few of their Cobra's and 2 of the Vipers. Love them both. And other than Leftie getting sore on long drives in the car have had no issues. Less pinching in the Viper.
