Help! Need some advice for my cage situation.

Hello, I very recently decided to dive into chastity, and picked up my first cage from a local shop.

So, I picked up a "Blue line" brand silicone 2 inch cage. It fastens around the base of my package with a silicone ring, the ring is quite thick too and covers the first inch of my penis at the base. (it was also a bit overpriced in my opinion at 90$ which I don't think is standard but I could afford it so I didn't mind)

My issue is as follows: It's simultaneously too big and too small for me. I suspect its mostly due to my size (which I will elaborate on later). But basically- when I'm soft there's too much room, about an inch of room at the tip, which is weird since it says its a 2" cage and I'm 3" soft. it doesn't feel snug at all, and it impedes me when I need to pee as I don't line up with the head opening. And when I'm hard, the cage doesn't do a good job of preventing an erection. My erection simply pushes against the cage and slides away from where its connected to me, down my sack, and squeezes my balls quite uncomfortably. So functionally, it doesn't prevent my erection at all. Maybe a little bit as while hard I'm a bit thicker than the cage allows, and its tight enough (while hard) to make take like .5 off or something, but it doesn't really prevent the erection itself. It still prevents simulation as I'm contained inside it but... I'm still hard inside it at essentially my full length.

My measurements- I'm definitely a grower. So my size difference between soft and hard is a bit dramatic, I think. I'm about just a under 3 inches soft (and sometimes about 2" when I get some type of shrinkage), and just under 6 hard (5.8 or something). Circumference is about 3.5 or 4? I forgot and cant measure right now, but I don't think circumference is the issue here anyway. Also worth mentioning it's quite hard for me to get a erection with out stimulation on my penis already (at least at this stage). so when I do get an erection I want it to feel good and be tight, not simply allow my erection to be entombed lol. And when I'm soft, which I am most the time, I still want it to feel snug.

So given my measurements, I thought a 2 inch cage would be quite snug and fit me comfortably, but it just doesn't seem to be a good fit.

So is there anyway to remedy this? Is my cage simply ill-fitting? Or is it my size situation itself, and I'll have this problem with other cages? Is this issue present with most silicone cages? I do like the way the silicone feels, its comfortable, but I want a more snug fit that prevents total erection.

Should I just find a new cage? And if so, do you guys have any suggestions for cages that would work for my size and meet my criteria to fit snug and prevent complete erection?

Your main issue is the cage is way too big. Do a search and a read through everything that people have written here, there’s acres of information all of which will explain you have a much too big device and how to actually sort the size out. The object is to be touching all round ALL the time so an erection simply can’t get started. Seriously have a good long read on here then ask any questions you might have.

I totally agree with what slave d has said. Too big.

I would add that it sounds as if the ring is too big also. The whole thing should not slide forwards when you get aroused in the way you describe. If the ring is small enough it won't be able to.

A lot of the problem that you have sounds similar to my own early days. The phrase I remember reading on here was "smaller is better" and whilst that might be a bit too much of a generalisation, I found it to be true.

The other advice that I got was to look at the 3D Cobra styles, especially the Nano and Nub versions. My keyholder chose for me. She chose the Nub where the cage is just enough to hold the head of the penis so there's a bit of squishing involved to get it on. The one that we ordered came with 4 rings so we could experiment. I now wear the smallest of the 4.

Lots of people (me included) have written lots of stuff on here about sizing so like slave d I would suggest read, read, read and don't be afraid to ask, ask, ask. There's good advice on here.

My 2 cents worth.

1) As you have heard already read, read, and read some more. This is my first experience with any online discussion forum of any nature. This place is spot on.

2) smaller is better! We dabbled with chastity for fun, then more seriously. I didn’t find this place until we were well on our way. As a result I have a truck load of over sized cages that I could sell for scrap metal prices.

3) there’s nothing wrong with Amazon for size learning. Especially for the financially strapped. Get something with several ring sizes, you will size down with time.

For what it’s worth I too am a grower. Drastically. I go from 2” to 8”. This is no lie, I’m not bragging by any means. It can be quite troublesome at times. Mrs. Groove has actually complained before and had me finish on my own. As a result morning wood in a cage can be brutal. I have tried smaller rings and there is a limit for me, just to tight. So ring sizing for me has taken a lot of experimenting. Take your time to get it right.

Ultimately the nub has been the best. It’s maybe an inch long which is half my soft length. I do have a stub nub that I can do well in also. Given the choice I’ll never go any longer. Emphasis on given the choice.

Thanks so much for the input guys, I will definitely be reading through this site and using it as a resource going forward. I just wanted some personalized advice I guess, as this site hold so much knowledge it seemed a little daunting to dive in when I'm so eager to find a solution so quick. Regardless, ill take the time to do my due diligence anyway. And I have already done some basic research into the main 'getting started' threads at this point.

I do still have a couple follow up questions/concerns though, if anyone would be so kind-
1) The cage is too big, clearly. But it is listed as 2" which I see is the length of some of these other "snub" cages, which should hypothetically fit my size quite snugly. So is the reason its too big like a issue with the branding, like it's not actually a 2"? Or is this like a result of the silicone? I will be moving down in size regardless to something about 1", but I just want to clear up if this is a result of inaccurate advertisement or a result of the silicone design.

2) The ring at the base also seems to be a big issue with this cage, but I'd like to note I'm using the smallest ring the set provided. And It's already very tight around me, (which I know is kind of the point yes), despite this is still doesn't prevent the erection. So It's hard to imagine it getting any tighter without a loss of blood flow or something. I understand if the cage is as tight as it ideally should be, the erection would be prevented entirely and I wouldn't have this extra pressure from my erection, right? So how do I gauge when the ring is tight enough that it won't result in too much loss of blood flow while still doing its job and preventing erection?

Im almost always in the small now. 1.5" with ring.

Then take the advice given to @KnownAsHerbert and get a cobra nano.

Very cheap. Very effective. Comfy.

Tiny is your only way forward I think.

preventing erection?

I read comments on here all the time about preventing erections. The biological fact is that you can’t prevent erections. The penis runs all the way back to near the anus. Your blood for your erection starts at that point so your erecting runs from your anus to your head. All the cage is going to do is prevent that last bit of length from engorging, causing your erection to stay in the abdominal cavity.

Not to be cynical here but as long as you’re healthy you can’t stop an erection. Maybe I’m not understanding your concern,but I get the impression you’re looking for arrousal without blood flow. Please feel free to correct me if I am not understanding.

There's a difference between Hard and Erect. I think you mean "cant not get Hard"?

Erect being long and tall. A tower block is an erection, things getting bigger are decribed as being erected.

When I'm in the flat cage I do get Hard exacly as you describe, in my abdomen. But I dont get errect.

Preventing the erection is key where a good cage is concerned.
