My own idea about why the Nub is different is that it's so accurately shaped to match the head of the penis. It surrounds it, holding it on every surface, preventing any movement and so also preventing sensation, friction, etc. After the first week or so, maybe a bit longer, you don't really feel anything at all.

Whilst wearing the steel, you get sensations, rubbing, the weight of the thing tugs at you as you move, and you get aroused and hard. Obviously frustrating not being able to “use” the erection but at least you know that the cage is there and you've still got a cock.

This move by Miss Emmie was a shock. I don't mind admitting that. I still haven't realised or fully accepted how this could be "perfectly normal" but I will take your word for it. It was so far, far, far outside anything that I could have ever expected from her. Not like the old Miss Emmie that I used to know at all.

But....

I'm all settled now. Had the call to say that she'd arrived all safe and with no trouble. They're staying indoors today but will be going out early tomorrow to a craft fair of some sort.
