Fit and comfort questions

Post by User69 »

Hello everyone,

I am relatively new to chastity, and have yet to find a cage that really "fits" me well. I most commonly have an issue where the cage will "slide" off of the top of my crotch, and hang low with the A-ring horizontal to my body, vs the idyllic tight to the body almost vertical A-ring. When putting on the cage, everything fits fine and dandy, but the weight of the cage itself causes everything to eventually fall down. I was wondering if anyone else has experience and solved a similar issue. For the size of the A-ring, I typically go for a 45mm diameter. When measuring myself with string, I find it to be around 50mm, so I do not think I can go for a smaller ring to solve this issue. Tying 40mm rings, I find it difficult to even get a single testicle through there.

In terms of comfort, I typically have little to no issues, except for the base of the scrotum, where it will tug and pull against the skin terribly. I alleviate this with a bit of olive oil, but I am convinced it has something to do with improper fit, since this shouldn't typically be an issue outside of night time erections, which for me are brutal and cause me to tap out so to speak.

I've tried a variety of cage lengths, from micro to massive, and the issues are consistent. Could it be the internal tube diameter? Perhaps my tubes have been too narrow. Any suggestions or expertise would be greatly appreciated, as I am very hopeful to find a cage that can be worn comfortably all day.

Regards.

You might look at ball gap, but this is something that's pretty common with cages until you find the right fit - and you should realize the "right fit" will change a bit early on. The first few months for me, a ring that was too tight became just right and then too loose. Don't get discouraged as you search for the right fit, it will take some time. Supportive underwear will help until then.

I started with the smallest ring, that I knew I couldn't escape from. Big mistake, very painful. After I healed, I went to a much larger size and then worked down. Now I need slightly smaller, a size that I *cannot* get testicles through, which means it will have to be hinged or multi-part.

If you're wearing steel, it's going to weigh and drag more than plastic- you may need external support.

Thank you for your comments regarding this topic,

The ball gap sounds like a very plausible cause for my issues. I'll take a look into devices where this is more customizable. I was thinking about the Cherry Keeper 3D printed devices since they're nearly infinitely customizable and relatively cheap.

Many years ago I ordered my 2nd stainless steel device from Mature Metal. Same gap size as my 1st one just a different style. I remember the day well as I was told before I drove my wife to work to lock-up with the new device. I was fine until after I had dropped her off. On the 15 minute ride home it began and it elevated in pain so much that I thought I was going to get stopped by the police for driving so fast or failing to stay in my lane of travel. The base of the scrotum where the ring made contact hurt so badly.

When I got home I immediately called my wife to get the combination to the lock box telling her what happened. The pain subsided after it was off and I ended up taking the device to my workshop. I placed it in a vice (protecting the metal with a cloth) and gave the locking post a slight tap with a hammer (measuring first to make sure I didn't over bend it) to increase the gap.

The next day I tried wearing it with the key in hand and to my amazement, no pain at all. Just a very small adjustment made all the difference. You may find the same results with your gap as I agree it could be the cause of your discomfort.

That is a very clear indicator to me that the ball gap measurement in my previous cages may be the primary culprit to my fit and comfort issues. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. Ball gap is one of the measurements on a lot of pre-made devices that is not adjustable or considered. I will definitely be looking into this further.

I had virtually the same experience as locked4her55 except that I sent my Jail Bird back to MM and let them adjust the gap a mere 1/16". That sixteenth of an inch made all the difference. The device went from unwearable to perfect.
