Also, hunt around for cylinder locks. He's not making them; he buys them someplace.
I think I've tracked them down, it's a locking cylinder intended for trailer hitch locks made by a company in the UK called AL-KO and can be had on eBay for about $7.50 a pop from the UK:

EDIT: Turns out they're the wrong locks.

The original lock SteelworxX uses is: Burg Wächter ME2 SB
I don't know, if you can find it anywhere near you, but you may try to search for it.

When I lost a key once I just bought this one - probably cheaper than ordering from SteelworxX.
Happily locked by my wife in a Looker 02 with just 48mm total length => it still went in like "nothing" :)

A shot of silicone spray lubricant every once in a while will keep the lock working well without the oily residue. Come to think of it, a drop of silicone sex lube would probably work well too.

And, having received said Al-ko lock from eBay, I can say it's not the right lock. It would work, but the barrel is slightly too large to fit the cylinder.

I can't seem to find the Burg Wächter ME2 SB available online anywhere that will ship to the US. Looks like I'll have to ask a friend in Europe if I can have it shipped to them and sent here.

There is a thread here with links to some that someone bought and said they fit.

I haven't purchased any new ones yet but I am looking for a new one since the kids dropped my keys and broke our integrated lock.

I haven't been able to find it, but I think at this point, by the time I pay VAT to have it shipped to a friend in Germany, and pay shipping to him and then from him to me in the US, it'll be comparable to just paying Dietmar the 25 euro per lock. As frustrating as that is.

Boo!

I need to do more research and buy a bunch of these and resell them cheaper. :)
