Curious if most KH's have agreed or provided predetermined dates for removal of the CM's device or dates for orgasms or Is it more common for nothing and it's strictly up to the KH's whim, assuming there isn't a contract in place.

There are benefits to knowing and not knowing. If I know I just mentally prepare myself so I can more easily go the distance. If I do not know there is the sweet anticipation of tonight may be the night. On the other hand I get a little anxious thinking I may have a long time yet to go.

For us, what works best is a time frame so I know the longest I will have to wait. My wife likes to surprise me though. I never know when I will cum, just the longest I will have to wait. The way it's supposed to go for us, is that when we're playing I'm supposed to have a monthly scheduled "Cum Day". This provides motivation to conform to certain expected behavior patterns, failure to do so may result in "Cum Day" being delayed for one or more weeks or revoked entirely for that month, or only being allowed a 'ruined' orgasm. (I have an upper limit of 3 months without orgasm.)

"Cum Day" is used as a 'reward', a positive reinforcement technique based on Pavlovian psychology. In addition to promoting adherence to currently expected behaviors, it provides the opportunity and framework to implement small, gradual/progressive changes in expected behaviors and/or the introduction of new activities. Delaying or revoking the [expected] orgasm increases the desire for it and reduces resistance to behavioral changes or new activities.

One of my 'hot buttons' is the idea of progressively modifying and introducing kinkier ideas and activities in small increments, so that each step further is only a small step that is [relatively] easily accomplished, working toward a goal where the cumulative total encompasses changes in behavior and activities that would not have been possible or accepted if it/they were suddenly introduced. It's a little more complicated in actual practice but this is the basic theory.

There are, of course, other negative reinforcement techniques (penalties/punishments) for undesired behavior.

It doesn't always work that way for us, though. Mrs. Twisted doesn't have the same education in Psychology that I have, and sometimes "Cum Day" is missed simply because we're too busy or just because she feels like making me go longer.

I prefer not to know exact dates but having an idea is good. For instance I knew this last streak was gonna be longer than 21 days. She made me wait until the 25th.
