Drunken night out.

Can't resist. Love this tale so much.
I had a night out with my mates.
After a few too many beers, I don't remember much about getting home.
When I came down stairs the following morning C was cooking bacon and eggs. I'd overslept. I hope I won't get into too much trouble for this.
As I walked closer I noticed there was also one of my socks in the frying pan simmering away next to the bacon?
"C.. Why is my sock in there?"
"Dont you remember? When you came home drunk last night, you asked me if I would cook your sock in the morning" .
"Cook my sock" ?
