Chastity Filk Song 1: Windmills of Your Mind

Miss Beth and I do filk songs. And after one thing she said last night, this just burst into my head. (There is little to do out here on the High Plains.)

Amazingly, there are no filk songs I can find on the topic of chastity anywhere on the Web.

So I get to be first.

With apologies to Mozart, who wrote the opening musical phrases for the Second Movement of the Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola, and Orchestra. Apologies also to the original French musical composer Michael Legrand, and the English lyric translators Alan and Marilyn Bergman, a filk of the song in French "Les moulins de mon cœur," or in English "The Windmills of Your Mind," (1968 Academy Award winning best song - I only filk from the best) used as the theme for the 1968 film The Thomas Crowne Affair.

I wonder if Mr. Crowne's affair would have been different in a chastity belt . . . (I realise that is not the sort of affair to which the title refers, but I couldn't resist).

My lyrics are first, in italics, followed by the English-language lyrics used in the movie.

If you wish, I will inflict more of this stuff on you. Vote in the poll to indicate what you think.

Limp, like a cock without a crow
Like a teen without a meal,
Never cumming nor erecting
It's a never-ending deal
Your scrotum is inflating
It's a huge hot-air ballon
Your keyholder's still teasing
Got you running round the room

Like a child whose eyes are weeping
As you bury your poor face
And your cock is in a prison
And the keys are lost in space
Like the orgasms you find
In the chastity of your mind.

It's a lifestyle that you follow
To a lifestyle of its own
Your manhood's in a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that never opens
In a never-ending dream
Or the wrinkles in your undies
When they're caught up in between

Like a child whose eyes are weeping
As you bury your poor face
And your cock is in a prison
And the keys are lost in space
Like the orgasms you find
In the chastity of your mind.

Keys that jingle in her pocket
As you give her lots of head
Be careful what you wish for
You may regret that which you said
Lovers tangled in the bed
Only one will beat the band
Was the sound of distant moaning
Caused by fingers of your hand

Long ago and far away
With a fragment of your dong
Half remembered screams and cummings
But to whom did they belong
When you knew she locked you over
Were you terrified and scared
That she'd never give you leave
To cum in there again

Like a child whose eyes are weeping
As you bury your poor face
And your cock is in a prison
And the keys are lost in space
Like the orgasms you find
In the chastity of your mind.

--- --- original lyrics below in case you need a reminder --- ----

Round, like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel.
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnaval balloon
Like a carrousel that's turning
Running rings around the moon

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of it's own
Down a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving
In a half forgotten dream
Or the ripples from a pebble
Someone tosses in a stream.

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Keys that jingle in your pocket
Words that jangle your head
Why did summer go so quickly
Was it something that I said
Lovers walking along the shore,
Leave their footprints in the sand
Was the sound of distant drumming
Just the fingers of your hand

Pictures hanging in a hallway
And a fragment of this song
Half remembered names and faces
But to whom do they belong
When you knew that it was over
Were you suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning
To the color of her hair

Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
As the images unwind
Like the circle that you find
In the windmills of your mind.

Ooh, the voting doesn't look so good at the moment for a sequel. It looks more like I will be run out of here with pitchforks and torches . . . Image

And I have a much more challenging song lined up for a sequel too . . .

James.

Well, I do it in the car
when I'm drivin' down the street,

One hand on the wheel
and the other on my meat,

Can't get out the car 'cuz I'm
stickin' to the seat

Hey, Masturbator!

(To the tune of Hey, Macarena!)

One of my wife's favorite movies (cause of Mr. Brosnan I suspect) and songs. Nice job on the lyrics. Bravo, Encore!

One of my favourite songs from one of my favourite movies (I own both versions on dvd). Good job.
