With the rings, are you able to order one now and then just purchase a new ring later when necessary?
Not sure about the MM JB yet, but with my Steelheart, I needed to send the entire device back since they're all handmade and need to be custom fit (ring to tube).

Buying your first device can be difficulty, especially if you have somewhat non-standard anatomy (i.e. uncircumcised, tight ball sack, bigger than average, smaller than average, or what have you). Even with the sizing rings, I don't think I could have chosen the right size -- when it comes to sizing a device, nothing beats wearing one. The sizing options are probably the best thing about the CB-XXXX line, and probably why a lot of people start with one. If you intend to wear a device "all of the time," the plastic option is also useful for getting through security checkpoints (thought this might be changing with the advent of full body scanners).

I wouldn't totally discount European manufacturers such as Steelworxx.de either. I really like the the integrated lock available on the Steelworxx line. Note that the 19% VAT doesn't apply if you're in the US, so that helps with the price.

The device has to be sent back to fit a new ring. You can do that later for the cost of the ring. He may be able to just adjust the ring you have too. I like having multiple rings, it allows you to go back and forth. Same for multiple devices, you can 'get used to' a new configuration over time, even if it is only a couple of days. Nice to have a backup in case one needs to be sent back or you have a temporary issue. I do understand about the cost though, you can spend a lot of money if you are not careful.

I don't think he can adjust the length or diameter of the tube so you need to get that right.

Good luck, take your time, and keep asking questions.

Sorry for all the posts but doing this on my iPhone is a little limiting.

You can get the brass master locks on amazon really cheap. I got four all keyed alike for less than $9 including shipping. I did this so I wouldn't have to mess with changing / tracking keys if I had to cut one off. I haven't had to yet even after spending a fair amount of time in the ocean but it will probably happen. I have had other brass master locks seize up in less harsh environments especially if they aren't unlocked very often :)

I *like* having that as something to worry about. Others probably feel differently.

Also, you may want to get the locks before hand so you can 'dehorn' them. I used a small sanding disk to smooth all the sharp corners and edges.

Gotcha. Thanks for the tip! The vline master locks only come in the one size right? Not really educated in the lock department.

Posted from my iPhone. ;)

I can look up what I got later when I am on a real computer. Not sure what vline is.

This is what I got. These work great and I am pretty sure they are the same as you get from MM.

Hello everyone, Jnuts wife here. Just wanted to thank everyone for all of the advice. This is a huge step for me, as I have always needed a "push" to be more assertive in sexual situations. Nothing like me taking the key to hold all the power I guess :D
