Dry Skin

Hi all,

I've noticed a bit of dry skin on the top of my penis - right where the Watchful Mistress top metal band runs. It's not overly dry. More like a bit more wrinkled and even...shiny. I don't put anything on myself while I'm wearing it and I wear it anywhere from 7 to 14 days 24/7. Do you think a daily tiny bit of lotion on there would help or make it worse?

I'm thinking about a WM or JB. Just ordered the fitting rings. Did you come up with a solution to the dry skin? Just wondering if it was you or the WM? Was the fit too loose causing it to wiggle around?

Well, I finally realized it was the anti-bacterial soap I was using on the Q-Tip. It wasn't being rinsed off well enough. When I started using regular body wash the problem went away. I encourage the WM whole-heartedly!

When LRC first saw the WM she said "Oh, I like that". She's torn between it and the JB. I used to wear a CB2000 and she always liked the more open design. She has long nails and finds a perverse enjoyment of lightly moving them through the bars to arouse me. She thinks the WM will allow her this pleasure also.

I find the skin at the head and even all along the shaft seems drier than normal after it comes out of the device. I too suspect this is due to the use of anti-bacterial soap. Doesn't seem to be a problem, though.

One of the best lotions I have found is Aveeno moisturizing lotion. It claims to last for up to 24 hrs and has no odor at all. completely hypoallergenic. Works well for me.

The dry skin, when it happens, is not a big deal. I do not use lotion often as I am not out often. But when I am able to, I lotion it up good and it takes care of any dryness pretty quickly.
