To Thumper and other Steelworxx "PA Fixing" users

Post by Whizbang »

I'm really new to this (<6 weeks) and a bit embarrassed to be posting in a public forum.

I tried the PA-5000 for a couple of weeks. Was surprised and pleased how much of a mindfuck chastity was, but the problem was that the PA-5000 was very unkind to my PA (which has always been a bit troublesome).

I then got the CB-6000, which was working okay, but I tried to size down the A-ring (from largest to second largest), which was A Very Bad Thing (TM), so I'm currently healing. When I'm healed, I will probably certainly go back to the CB-6000 to continue to figure out what works.

Reviews online are pretty positive about the Steelworxx devices. However, one can buy a PA-fixer, which acts as a security device. Now, when I was in the CB-6000, I really wasn't motivated to try to cheat the device--it was just a reminder of a promise and a way to enjoy slow-burn sexuality. But in the CB-6000, I would have a tendency to pull back into the tube, which wasn't super aesthetic.

So, my question. It seems the PA-fixer would be pretty nice for keeping one extended in the tube. That might be not-so-relevant for a metal device, I guess. But my concern is... during erections, does the glans cram against the end of the tube and crush the jewelry in an exceedingly uncomfortable way?

It looks like one could buy the PA-fixer later, of course, but despite the blog reading I've done, I've not seen commentary about how a PA works in these tubes.

Finally, if anyone has experience with the stainless versus the powdered-coated versions of the Steelworxx devices, I'd be interested in knowing the difference. Is it primarily an aesthetic choice--metal versus colored enamel--or are there comfort reasons?

That can happen. Things can get a little pinchy in there, after all. What I find that that, for some reason, it tends to happen for a few days during nocturnal erections and then stop, usually at the beginning of a stint in the device. Typical excitement erections aren't as strong or long-lasting as the nocturnal kind and don't *usually* pinch.

In any event, I get up and pee and walk around until the swelling goes down enough to fiddle with the tube and it's contents. Shifting things a bit will usually put things in order. Also, I tend to wear my higher gauge (thinned) PA jewelry to help with space issues.

When it works well, the ring stays lined up with the line of the slit in the glans. When it gets perpendicular, it tends to pinch.

As a follow-on to this thread...

I'm think gonna take the plunge and order the Steelheart with the PA-fixing.

I've mentioned before on this blog that I used to have a PA, upsized too big too quickly, and got un unintentional meatotomy. Since I never got that repaired (and I don't mind the split - it's actually more sensitive now), I can't do a basic PA again so I'm gonna get a reverse PA (through the top of the glans). Yeah, I know it's a painful piercing, but that'll only last a second. Heh.

But as users of the PA-fixing, do you think a reverse PA will be just as compatible with the fixing? Maybe just minor bending of the wire so it points upward rather than downward?

And as an aside, I assume the anatomical ring for my Looker will be compatible with a Steelheart so I'd only have to order the tube and fixing?

Thanks for any info!

If you want to share the same ring, you need to send it back to be fitted to the new tube. They're all custom and fit a little differently. Regarding the reverse PA, the type of fixing I use (http://steelworxx.de/PA-Fixing-114p.html) should be modifiable by Dietmar as long as you explain what you need. As it stands, I don't think it'd work with a reverse.
