Cherry Keeper-Couple of questions

1. In your opinion, is the premium white finish worth the added expense, and will it likely alleviate the need for further polishing ?

2. One poster on a search I found, commented regarding the ability to escape, just by bending the unit and increasing the ring-cage gap. They also noted It would likely be very difficult to re-install, without injury. In my experience, many other plastic/nylon/silicone units have some flexibility, which allows increasing ring-cage gap, which might allow escape. Thoughts ?

there's a smooth-finish now that I really do recommend. I think chafing pain happens when the ring can't move, so a smooth ring, and vaseline between ring & skin, makes motion free and no pain. smoother ring is worth some extra dollars

Yes the premium white is smoother but irritating more than metal ring. Need to be taken away every 2-4 days for a few hours
When polishing the ordinary finish, the color ( if not white) goes away
No flexibility at all in the unit
Metal cages are a lot heavier
