Locked in lust Vice vs CB-6000s

Post by Pacman1975 »

I am curious... How does the Vice compare to the CB-6000s?
The Vice looks like it has less parts and is easier to put on. The base ring looks thinner.
Just curious, thanks.

My keyholder has me in a CB-6000 but from the looks of it, my next cage very well may be The Vice.

What is it about the Vice that will make you jump ship? I'm in a CB-6000s and wondered about the Vice. I wondered if it was better fitting...

The vice just looks more comfortable and a little less bulky.

Did you get to try the Vice out and compare?

Have not yet. My KH is wanting to help me choose the next cage. We are researching.

I have both, and the Vice is definitely more comfortable, I can wear it much longer.
In fact I am searching about to see if there is a metal equivalent - anyone know?

Thanks for sharing.
Are you able to explain why you found the vice more comfortable?

I wanted one that was difficult to 'squeeze' out of for one thing, and I found most others I had to have too tight a ring, or too small a gap to be able to wear for more than a few hours. The 'vice' part of this does actually grip the shaft and makes it very uncomfortable to try to pull out - I haven't managed yet. I use the smallest of the 'vice' parts.

Are either good for long term without taking it off for cleaning?
