Base Ring Design

Post by happilylockedman »

When I'm having a caged erection all the pressure is on the underside of the base ring. I'm pretty sure that's the universal experience.

Wouldn't it be good if the base ring of a custom device was somewhat flattened where it is under the scrotum? This would spread the load over a larger area. Not easy to do, I understand, but I think it would be a more comfortable cage.

I think that is the reasoning behind oval rings vs. round.

I've tried double rings before, and even ones more like cuffs They feel very secure, but they're hard to clean under. Also create folds in the scrotum, like jowls, which get dried and chafed.

I agree with Tom. I have been wearing this type for weeks and only out for cleaning, with no problems at all.

Tom's *ahem* is well noted. That is exactly what I had in mind. And there it is!

I've worn this from last winter, through the summer, fall, and now into winter again. It's very comfortable. Yes, everybody is different, but it's a surprisingly ergonomic cuff ring, especially at the price.

I just looked at it on line and it looks good, but a little too long for me. Do you know if anyone makes the same design but with a 50 mm length instead of the 60 mm length of this one?

I linked to one called the A272. Search for the A271, it's a shorter version. There's a thread on that around here someplace.

I have two devices; a MCN and a A272. The ring design on the A272 is very comfortable, even when doing yoga. I have not slipped out of the ring yet. It is quite good for long term wear.

I agree with Tom, the A271-272 is one of the best cages on the market short of a custom unit.
