Loose Cage

Post by happilylockedman »

A steel cage that had been fitting fine in the colder weather is now sort of loose and sloppy feeling.
Is this a common warm weather occurrence?

Bingo. As the temps go up, your cage drops down. You may consider moving to a smaller ring for the season.

This is why I am looking to do two base rings for my MM JB. In the winter the base ring is great. Not that it is warm it is very loose.
