Well my cage split already.

The Vice tube is about 1/4" smaller in diameter narrower then the cb6000s cages. Those tubes were already tight for me and the Vice was just too tight for me. I had been trying it on and off trying to get comfortable with it and just couldn't get the right fit to even sleep in it over night. I had a difficult time getting the tube all the way on, combination of too narrow but also too long for me. I'm used to a shorter cage so I couldn't get all the way to the end which made putting on the antipullout on difficult too.

Putting on the initial ring and locking pin was far easier then then assembling a cb6000s which has a lot of parts. Then the spacer gets snapped to the cage, I put that on backwards at first but it makes sense once assembled. Then you are supposed to make sure you match the locking pin and spacer which has a little letter on each piece. I got the all white model and it was a bit hard to read and see but I figured it out eventually.

After I finally got a wearable combination I liked the hinge on the bottom outside of the ring was a little irritating plus there is another bump on the bottom of the cage from the antipullout that rubbed too.

I've been uncomfortable in a cage before at first and this was no worse. I just chalked it up to just initial wear and tried to go about my day.

This is where I ran into the first problem. I couldn't fit the head of my penis all the way to the end of the cage since it was a bit narrow but I figured the antipullout, I started withe the medium one, would hold things in place. The antipullout is supposed to take two days to become the most effective but I never made it there. I'm in the grower not a shower category of a penis so when I would sit down things would turtle a bit and try to pull back. the sides are textured and all it did was scratch me up a bit and left a couple of teeth marks in the sides of my penis, it actually bleed a little from the pinching.

I took a break after that and let it heal for a day or two. I went back to trying it with no antipullouts just to give the device another honest try. I really wanted this thing to work and be comfortable. I got back into the most comfortable fit I could assemble and went about my day. It feels and it is probably as noticeable as a cb6000 series. It has the padlock bulge like all do but unless I was wearing a speedo and someone was staring nobody would know. Completely concealable under normal clothes.

I had the device on for about 8 hours and was home when all of a sudden a heard a pop, got pinched, and knew what it was. My attempted erection had cracked the cage just like my cb6000s in the past. Game over for this cage. I gave it my best effort to try it out. I do thank Adam for giving me one in the contest but it just didn't work for me. Maybe since I selected a new white model the cage was defective in some way and I just got a bad model. Hopefully the other winner has a better experience then me.

The Vice arrived while I was on a business trip. I tried it on almost immediately after returning home Saturday evening. The initial three hours were great. I took it off for the first night at home and put it back on the next morning with the intention of trying it out for a day and night.

Sunday night - I'm anxious to sleep in it and see if I have the right combination of ring, spacer, (no vice - one step at a time), about 4:30 a.m. I get the answer. Nope! Slippage. But, not to worry. I'll change up the combination later. I lock up again with a smaller spacer.

So, we'll continue the test drive as I sit at my desk today and then sleep in it tonight. Hopefully I've got the spacing correct. I do have The Vice installed too. Just as LockedChef said, I too, haven't mastered being able to insert myself all the way to the end of the cage. I'm pretty sure that when I do, I'll stay there based on shape, size, etc. I used the knee high nylon hosiery trick to get in as far as I did.

More later.

Thanks again to Austin and http://lockedinlust.com/.

Please check your inbox, I am so sorry it split on you!

To better help get your penis situated properly in The Vice you can try the Nylon trick, I know a lot of people that use this trick to get them inside their cages a lot better. I found this site that explains it best (no affiliation). Using this trick should also help to eliminate the irritation from The Anti-Pullout as it will help to put your penis in a better position with the head being further into the cage and the tabs being able to grab at the skin around the shaft rather than the head.

LockedinLust; I'm glad to see you are monitoring the comments made by the winners. It shows me you do have a concern for honest reviews of your product.
I was also wondering if you could clarify something? Is your tube "welded" together like the CB series are?

Lockedchef & jfenoffti: Thanks for your time to share your experiences with us.

The more feedback we get, the better the cage we can design in the future!

I believe the CB series is glued together, which is why so many people experience the cage splitting after awhile. Ours is sonically welded together instead making splitting far more difficult! Unfortunately we did have a bad batch come in that isn't held to our high standards which is why we have offered a recall on devices bought between June 1st and July31st. Of course if The Vice breaks within a year of purchase it is also covered by our warranty and the piece will be replaced free of charge. We stand by our product 100%!

The early CB2000 devices were glued, but eventually AL Enterprises went to a sonic weld process. However, as most of us know, the weld doesn't seem to hold up well over time. I've replaced several devices, and as soon as I get them, I split the cage at the seam and use a gel superglue to hold it together.

That said, thanks for keeping the members here updated.

Ok sports fans, here are the latest stats.

Day................Ring............Spacer.............Anti-Pullout.......Remarks
....................XL L M S......D C B A..............L M S

Sat Day 1.......... L................C.......................M............... 3 hr test run - all good, no problems.
Sun Day 2 ..........L...............C...................OMIT.............24 hrs Overnight. Testicular slippage (1). I've had trouble with this issue with other devices. Nothing new for me and my anatomy.
Mon Day 3..........L................B...................OMIT.............24 hrs Overnight. Testicular slippage (2). Second slipped through when nocturnal erection pushed cage away & pulled ring. Wonder if the Anti-Pullout would have helped to prevent this?
Tue Day 4..........M................B...................OMIT..............24 hrs test underway.

As with any device, it's all about the right fit. (Nothing we didn't already know.) I still have not mastered the art of inserting all the the way to the end. Using the nylon hose technique, but may need to modify what I'm doing. This is strictly for urination convenience. So far The Vice is quite comfortable to wear and conceals easily due to it's design. i.e. The downward angle of the cage from the ring maintains a low profile.

Wed Day 5.........M................A...................OMIT..............The trial continues.

I think I have resolved the insertion challenge. Mostly.

Well, that didn't last long.
The combination of the M Ring and A (small) spacer was just too tight and uncomfortable. After only a few minutes, changed out to the L Ring and kept the small, A, spacer. So, Day 5 now looks like:
Wed Day 5.........L................A...................OMIT..............The trial continues.

Now we're making some progress!
Thu Day 6.........L................A...................OMIT.............. No slippage overnight; I just may have finally determined the winning combination. Hopefully the trial will continue to go as well for the next couple of days. Additionally, I perfected the nylon technique. However, due to the normal shrinkage when just going about day to day stuff, carrying water, etc., I still retract back into the cage and peeing becomes a challenge. Anxiously awaiting Austin to release the "mini" cage version. (Austin: please rename it so I can feel good about buying it. I'm too vain. I don't do "mini" whether it's -vans, -mouse, -Cooper. Ok, that's a lie, mini-14 rifles and mini-split air conditioners are ok.)
