Steelheart arrived!!!

After waiting 9 weeks, as promised by the fine folks at Steelworxx, MrsL's Steelheart arrived yesterday afternoon. I was so charged up that we almost could not get it on. It took a bowl full of ice to calm things down enough to get it locked in place. MrsL removed it after an hour so we could go down to the neighborhood pool. After playing at the pool and a nice hot shower I was able to get back in her Steelheart with no issues. I have been happily locked in steel ever since. The night time erections were there but no where near as painful and annoying as they were in the Bon4 or the CBxxxx series.

After 4 months of silicone, I am simply amazed at the difference in the feeling the stainless steel provides. MrsL is going to give me supervised releases every other day for the week to ensure I am getting things clean and there are no skin issues but she has told me this will be at least a 7 day lock up to begin with. I am one happy chaste cyclist!!!

So, I am a little disappointed. The Steelheart is insanely comfortable but even with our best efforts the fit isn't quite right. There is not enough space between the ring and the tube and it has resulted in some red irritated skin. I have already reached out to Steelworxx and am making arrangements to send it back over to add a couple of mm's of space. I am also, with MrsL's approval, having him convert the circular hole at the tip to an oval to help improve hygeine.

We are going to discuss if I will go back in the Bon4 while the tube goes back for adjustments or if I will be on the honor system. Stay tuned...

One advantage with Steelworxx and Dietmar, he will always try to make sure you are happy with your device. With a custom device sometimes it may take a trip back to the shop to get it right but when you do, it is the best thing that ever happened when it comes to chastity.

The turn around with Dietmar is usually pretty short also. With the designs, locking mech's, and overall customer service that is why I picked Steelworxx. I hope when it gets back it will fit the way you want. Did you get the ring at the back of the device on the tube as a adder? On the Steelheart I have heard it makes it very comfortable-more than before.

Thanks kept4her. I have been in communciation with Deitmar and MrsL and I are taking a couple more measurements to ensure we get it right. I did add the "comfort ring" to the tube. Other than the gap between the ring and tube, it was very comfortable. I can't wait to get it back.

Question, do you use any type of lubricant to get the base ring on?

As MrsL and I were remeasuring everything last night she posed a great question. She asked if there was any discomfort when flacid to which I replied no...as there are not any comfort issues. She asked me about ring size and we reviewed how I went from a 44mm ring with the Bon4 to the 42mm ring with the Steelheart. We even measured prior to ordering and I was closer to 43mm in the measurement so we chose the 42mm. My question: could the discomfort when I am "excited" be from the ring being too small instead of the gap? I read through Thumper's post and he relates never messing with the gap...so I think I might have gone too small on the ring?

I am still going to send it back to have the hole at the end enlarged slightly, asking him to make it more of an oval than a circle, but think I should order the 45mm ring instead of having the gap enlarged....

Well, after conversing with Dietmar and making some final measurements I shipped off MrsL's Steelheart back to Germany yesterday and am now locked back up in the Bon4. We weren't going to use it again, at least that was what I thought, but after some transgressions in her 24 hour challenge, she ordered me back in it. We decided to go with a 44mm ring and not adjust the gap at all. I had a discussion with Dietmar and he said he could make a 44mm ring. I am going to keep the 42mm and order a 45mm to account for body changes during the year: hot weather, cold weather, etc. He has also agreed to make the hole at the end a little larger and oval in shape.

So, 6-10 days to get to Germany plus processing time, then 6-10 days back here. It may be back in time for my birthday in August. What a birthday present!!
