I ordered mine per the directions, even went back and remeasured and shortened my length 1/4" pre-production, and I'm glad I did. At this point I've been wearing it for two weeks with just two releases for sex, so it's definitely comfortable, and I could see going very long term with it, but if I had it to do again I would go 1/4" shorter still. The head of my penis is right at or near the end most of the time, but it never lines up with the square whole at the front, but with the whole/slot above that. It works out fine, but I've had at least 2-3 times where I've gone to pee without checking first and sprayed around a bit. It's close enough that I'm not going to send it back because I don't want to be without it or pay for the alteration.

Someday I may order another and go really short like Tame Lion. I'm sure it would work out, and while I'm pretty straight, I have to admit the photo of that tiny little cage is pretty exciting.

I had the same alignment problem with the longer cage. After going down 1/2", things stay pretty well aligned. Sometimes my urethra moves left or right and "bites" the bars. But generally it is fine. When it does move a bit, a push gets it back. The head is in constant contact now with the cage. it is way better for me this way.

Tame Lion- so is your end length 1-1/4? How easy is pullout? I am in the same boat, and will consider this when I place my order for JB.

My cage length is 1 1/4". I don't think pull out would be easy. Not much room at all. Of course, I don't try to pull out (seriously).

Thinking about purchasing JB also , confused on length . my present cage curves bottom of curve 2 1/4 "
top of curve 3 " with a 3/8 " ring gap . Most of the time I fill it but occasionally I am about 3/8 " to 1/2 " back . Tried a 1 3/4 base ring but was to tight , but 2" seems a little loose at times . I measure between 2" and 3" soft pending on when I measure . Any advise will help
Tame Lion if you don't mind what is your length soft out of cage?
Lady M same question for caged monkey and what cage length did you choose as I think I want some room as it sound he has.

cagedmonkey is about 4" flaccid but obviously fluctuates a bit probably between 3 & 4" at first we got a 3.5" cage thinking we wanted it the same length as him but found that he was not touching the end of the cage (with its curve) most of the time. That's something where a mistake happens. First you should be measuring flaccid length while standing but the reason you want to subtract is the fact that the cage curves so that "shortens" your length. That was our mistake... so we shortened the cage to 2.75" and like I said he pretty much touches all the time but can pull back a little depending on weather or how far the cage has slipped away from him (I'm leaning toward ordering yet another smaller ring)

I've had a talk with Mistress MM and I'm working on an in depth measuring guide with pics and videos - for MM devices mainly but obviously the measurements will work for multiple devices.


IMO: it sounds like you need a 1 7/8" ring (I would order a 1 3/4 as well because sometimes you end up needing the smaller eventually). 3/8" gap is standard and sounds like you might want a 1 3/4" length for the cage (remember the gap adds a little to that). If you want to play it safe go with 2"and see how it goes and a cage is easily sent back and shortened if need be. The one thing you haven't mentioned it your diameter, that's another measurement you need for a cage.

I would imagine if you can't fit your entire length in there that it might slip out the back of the device and with an attempted erection you'd end up strangling the end of your cock and getting really damn rooty. Rooty is what I call the attempted erection at the base of your cock since it gets all thick there behind the base ring.

Just my opinion, I have no idea!

Lady M thank you I was thinking 1 7/8" ring 3/8 gap and 2" on length inside dia. 1 3/8 ". I have 2 cages now 1 has the 1 3/4" ring extremely tight and uncomfortable. The other same cage with 2" ring seems to slide down slightly during the day and or with an attempted erection . My wife seems to want me to have a little as she puts it room to grow. She seems to like to see me swell and look like I'm busting through the steel rings.

When I first got the 1/2" shorter cage and Mrs. Lion put it on me, I was sure I made a mistake. It seemed like I didn't get all the way in. We tried with some lotion on my penis to get it in more easily and Voila! it fit perfectly. There is never a gap at the end.

I too shared a bunch of correspondence with Mistress MM and revised my fitting guide (http://www.malechastityjournal.com/livi ... -good-fit/). It's pretty extensive now with more images. As lady M said, diameter matters too. That's pretty easy to measure if you stay soft. I ordered the diameter just a shade smaller than my measurement because my penis flattened on the ruler and looked wider. I measured 1 1/2" diameter, but ordered 1 1/4" and it is perfect.
