Ordered a Steelheart

actually I ordered a double cock ring with an integrated lock back in February. Before it shipped I had a discussion with Dietmar about adding a Looker 1 cage to it. Ultimately I decided that I didn't want the urethral tube so we went a different direction. I really liked the idea of a steelheart but thought the 29mm tube would be too small and that the 35mm tube would be too big. Well, it turns out that he can do other sizes (it is always good to ask) and he is going to make a steelheart for me with a 31mm tube.

With a little luck it is being built this week. I have been patient but now I am starting to get a little excited about getting it.

We are going to order a Steelheart or a Steelheart 2 later this year. Our plan right now is to wait until our male chastity one year anniversary and then place the order.

How exactly is the best way to ask for customizations when ordering from Steelworxx? They have a model there I am considering called the cb Zero. It seems pretty comparible to the JailBird, but I tend to hear that Steelworxx devices tend to be better then Mature Metal (and I pretty much never hear anything bad about Mature Metal.) Would you recommend it over MM?

I really think I might just go with them if they can make the cage a certain diameter for me.
Oh! And when it says overall length in the description, does that mean the cage or the entire device?

If you speak German then you could just call him, I have heard that works well. I don't speak German so I used email. His written English is pretty good.

I have been happy with my Mature Metal devices. The one thing that I am hoping will be improved is the consistency and placement of the gap between the base ring and the tube.

I wish he made a cage that was identical to the Jailbird, that part I really like a lot. I ordered a properly sized penis ring to go on the base ring so I can fabricate one myself. That was actually my original intention, I am going to take one of my Jailbird cages, cut off the ring at the opening, and then weld it to the steelworxx ring. Of course it will not be that simple but I have a plan and I think it will work.

There is a sizing guide on his website, under FAQ's I think. Basically the overall length is the entire device.

If you think you want something a different size I would definitely ask him. He is making mine with a non-standard base ring diameter, non-standard penis ring diameter, non-standard tube diameter on the steelheart, non-standard length on the steelheart.

That's good to know! I have no idea how I managed to miss his FAQ... The only change I'd really need would be tube diameter. I'm afraid 38 mm is a little too loose, and 35 mm is just a little too tight.

It arrived!

It still amazes me how excited I get every time I get a package that I know contains something designed to keep me from having an orgasm or really any physical sexual contact.

I was so excited I didn't even take time to take a picture or put it on the scale, just washed it thoroughly and put it on.

My initial reaction - it is really small even though the interior dimensions are all the same or larger than the Pet Trap I have been wearing. The thin wall tube makes for a really compact device.

Quality is top notch. Everything lines up perfectly and has a solid fit. The rings are evenly spaced and the gap is consistent all the way around. The finish is polished and smooth.

Even though it seems so small it was easier to put on then any of my other devices (except probably the CB3000 but I haven't tried that in a long time). I didn't have to use a stocking or lube or anything.

Comfort wise, so far, so good. I got both a regular ring and an anatomical ring, I started with the anatomical. Seems very comfortable, time will tell.

The experience - Wow!, the full tube is mentally so hot. I just sat there for about five minutes stroking and rubbing this amazing piece of stainless steel. The fact that there is no contact at all it really cool. I have been wearing my Pet Trap for the last week or two and was really getting in to the limited access that provided. This is definitely taking it to a new level. I sure hope this can be a long term device for me. Obviously I will need some time to see how urinating and cleaning work out but I have high hopes.

Finally, the integrated lock - I am happy to be under lock and key again. We have been using the MM security screw for quite a while and I like that it is solid and stream lined but never cared for the fact that I could take it out pretty much any time I wanted. There is just something about having a real key.

Not likely with it being worn. Thumper has a few photos on his blog of his being worn, mine is about the same as his smaller one (SH-S).
