Pet Trap arrived

Post by inscription »

Received it Sat. I have had it on for two days feels comfortable so far. I am using less lube then with my home made ones. It is also heaver. I think I did very well on the size.
She went to the mail box and RAN back in the house to show me. She was very excited. Wife first reaction was that it looked like a diver's mask.

cool, glad it is comfortable.

What size did you end up getting (if you don't mind me asking)?

I think a mature metal device will be my next one, too. However, my only remaining concern is the discomfort some have experienced with the base ring on the MM devices. It is a small ring compared with a wider, beefier ring on other devices. The small ring doesn't distribute the weight and seems to cause discomfort to some wearers. This seems to be a possible impediment to long term wear. I am staying tuned to some on this forum to see how they fair after having the device for awhile. Please keep us updated on your experience with this device. Good Luck!

The size is 3/8 gap 1 3/4 ovel ring 1 1/2 cage lenth. I also had them weld the stem that comes off of the ring on top instead of straight out. This lines the top of ring with top of cage. (Thanks Thumper)Today I am going to try using no lube we will see how it is.

I had noticed this when I first got mine. I am curious how much of a difference it makes. I like that the top of the ring is smooth. I wonder if having the post on top will affect comfort. Keep us posted.

That is a short cage, I bet it looks really small. What diameter is the cage? Do you have any trouble with pulling out, even inadvertently? I have heard that really short cages can be a problem that way.

Inscription,

Please post a picture of your cage showing the new stem location, if possible.

I'm also VERY interested in how the new post location works out. I haven't yet sent my JB back and I've been thinking of asking for that same modification.

Inside Dia is 1 1/4 Pulling out has never been a problem for me. the lenth of the cage does not matter to me. I will be able to pull out.I have made my cages up to 3" Smaller is definite better for comfort for me.

I will try to take a picture when it comes off but I don't know when that will be. X-mas for sure!!

I will let you know how the post is, so far I am glad I did it.

Congrats. I just got mine back a couple of days ago as well. Before I had a CB model and the PT is by far more comfortable. It's amazing how comfortable having a custom made device is. The weight of the device does make it hang slightly lower and I am able to pull out. However, I would not be able to reinsert.

wishful4 maybe he can make the base ring a double as he offers double cock rings.

My experience has been good. My JB got here just over 4 weeks ago, we took off the CB, let me wash up, put on the JB, and it hasn't come off since. It is still clean and comfortable. The smaller ring at the base is a major benefit, as it doesn't get in the way. At least the way mine fits, I don't see any need to take it off, except for travel, doctor's visits and physical exercise activities where it would be a bad idea.

I think I'd generally have had it off here and there, but the weather has been really bad here, and I've had an awful cold for over a week, which limits some activities. Now that the cold is starting to abate, I'm starting to get back to normal, and this 6 week total period is pretty intense.
