Longer time in my CB2K!

Well this time, I made it to 20 days before I had to remove the device as a pinch point was getting to me. I'll probably be able to put it back on either tomorrow or the day after and am on the "honor system" in the meantime. Could this be the result of the ring being too large as I've noticed that I have a lot of extra room in there? I'm thinking of buying the 1 7/8 inch ring from A&L enterprises as they'll sell me one for 20 dollars. I had the ring in question, but my mother-in-law found it and threw it away because she's a bitch! But we won't get into that... Regardless, the MM Jailbird that I intend to buy second hand is equipped with a 1 7/8 inch ring and their site says the device is comparable to the CB2K. So (in theory) this sized ring would work for me right?
