They did email to let me know when mine would be shipped but I did have to ask for a tracking number. I'm assuming that's pretty standard.

Does anyone know how long shipping takes to the UK? I'm hoping it might be quite quick given the $30 charge.

I'm in continental Europe and I think it took at least a week, maybe longer. You may also be hit with a customs charge.
