Maybe I'm trying to get to what motivates one to be "into" all this chastity stuff. I don't know. Obviously, this is just one facet of any of us, but is it significant enough to identify yourself that way?

My husband likes the fantasy of being submissive but when push comes to shove, he can't really do it. A few weeks ago he told me he'd be truly submissive for 7 days --- the week leading up to his scheduled release on October 9th. He said he'd do this for me to thank me for getting the Jailbird. His definition was that anything I asked, he'd do, no matter what it was. So we played around with that (I sent him a long list of instructions that I wanted him to follow). It lasted for about 18 hours before we both felt it was a little bit stupid and boring. LOL.

It's so much more than that. It's not what you do, it's how you feel in your chest. At least for me.

For me, "Submissive" is a loaded word. I'm masochistic (into pain play, to be specific), and I'm into doing things that are mutually satisfying. However, I'm also stubborn and disinclined to do things I don't want to do. For me, the definition of "Submissive" would be that I would be willing to do things that I don't really want to do, because my partner wants me to do them. I would take my satisfaction not from doing a thing, but because by my doing it, my partner gets satisfaction. That holds very little interest to me. That's why I don't classify myself as submissive.

I have zero interest in doing mundane stuff as an expression of submission. it wouldn't last long for me, either. Sexually, then I'll do a fair number of things - tied up, spanked, yum.

That's why I say I think it's more of a fantasy for him---which he wants to stay in the realm of fantasy. Not everything has to come true. I really don't know if I could cope with it if Hugh Jackman showed up and wanted to have sex with me. ;)

Hooked and locked with a chain connected to the end of the JB to the eyebolt on the kitchen ceiling---and expected to cook dinner whilst in this configuration. This was suggested to me last night. ;)

The claws are the last thing I would be looking at.

I can do the mundane stuff all day long if I am doing it because my wife is asserting her control and her desires. I just love it.

I am also a bit of a masochist, or at least I love pain play in the bedroom.

To be honest, I don't think I have met a kink I didn't like.
