Locked

Well, wife and I have taken another step. I dusted off a CB-2000 that has been idle for many, many years. I thought that would be a good experiment rather than running out and buying steel right away. She is wearing the key. We are laying in bed. I asked her if she should unlock me. "Why? Is it uncomfortable? Can you sleep in it?" She asked. It surprised me that she didn't just toss me the key. I told her "not yet" and "I don't know". She wants me to wear it a little longer, as long as I don't have too much discomfort. I doubt wearing it the whole night would be a good idea.

I guess I am anxious about sudden discomfort. I suppose bed is a fairly safe place to try. I think she likes the idea of holding the key if I am not in discomfort, which hasn't been an issue in 3 or so hours. It is an unusual feeling.

If you have sudden discomfort it is most likely going to be due to a nocturnal erection, at least you can do something about that. If it is something else you should be able to get the key to correct it.

I know a lot of people advise starting out during the day and then working up to wearing it during the night. I did just the opposite. I bought my first device on a Sunday afternoon and started wearing it that night, and every night after that. For the first couple of weeks I didn't wear it during the day while at work but did all day during the weekends. After a couple of weeks I got comfortable enough to wear it at work and have been ever since.

Good luck

Thanks for the advice. I made it the whole night without any problems. My main issues were being mentally buzzed. Almost no discomfort. Wearing it at night actually makes a lor of sense---lower risk of things rubbing the wrong way.
