Any tips to sleeping in a CB6000s?

I've had my CB for a little over a month now, but I've only manage to wear it over a single night, and I didn't sleep for a single minute.

I would like to try again this weekend as even if I don't sleep well, I have nothing I need to get up for, however, I would like to sleep some.

When I tried last time, it wasn't comfortable. My balls ached, I constantly thought about it which caused me to try to get hard, and I couldn't find a comfortable position. So, I'm turning to you all. Instead of trying to fix MY problem, how about you just post what works for you. Here are some things I've been thinking about...

Do you sleep naked or do you wear something (briefs?) that supports you?

What position do you sleep in? If on your sides, do you use a pillow (or something) to support your top leg?

Do you do anything before bed that helps you sleep at night?

Assuming you DO have stuff that helps you sleep, how do you adapt when your wife decides to snuggle up, tie you down, or alter your sleep routine in some way?

Thanks for any help. You obviously don't have to respond to all/any of those questions, I just wanted to give some examples in case you couldn't think of anything.

I think nighttime is the toughest to get used to. One head wants to sleep and the other wants to wake up. Is your ring and spacer set so you are comfortable during the day? If you are feeling any aching during the day you may try a slightly larger spacer at night.

When I first started I found that lying on my side gave me the best relief. I would move my lower leg forward and rest my cage and balls on it. I would still wake up during the night and reposition myself again and would go back to sleep.

Sometimes when the ache wouldn’t go away I would lie on my back and grab a ball in each hand and massage them. This would help me so much that sometimes I would go back to sleep this way. The first time LRC woke up seeing me asleep with my hands like this I had some explaining to do.

I have also found that making sure your bladder is emptied just before going to sleep has helped with the erections, which lead to the cage stretching the balls, which leads to achy balls.

I also wear a CB-6000s. I sleep in it about 3 nights a week (pending what my wife wants). I actually sleep pretty well locked, though a night time erection will wake me some nights. Here's what I do:

-Put some lotion on the inside bottom of the ring just before bed
-I sleep naked (more because I prefer it, than for comfort)
-I use an extra pillow between my legs when I'm on my side
-I do drink water in the evening before bedtime (better to be hydrated, than not)

The biggest help for my sleeping comfort was the lotion. Before I used it, my balls really ached by morning.

Yes, lubrication. Also, repetition. Eventually, you get used to it and sleep. At least that's how it worked for me.

It's just something you have to get used too. If you have a high and tight ball sack, I would suggest the largest ring and a medium pin spacer to start. Having a high and tight ball sack is kind of a curse with a trapped ball device like the CB6Ks. Your skin WILL stretch out eventually and then you will be much LESS uncomfortable. It took about a month or 6 weeks of intermittent use before my skin had stretched out even a little bit. I was only able to wear the device during the day and nighttime was pure agony so my wife was kind enough to let me take it off for sleeping. Best time to put it back on is right after a hot shower when the "boys" are hanging low. Wear it during the day as much as you can stand it and then remove it at night. It's going to take time to get used to it. Not something you can get used too in just 1 or 2 weeks. I am locked 24/7 right now.

Sleep on your side or back. Try and put a pillow between your knees if on your side. Go to the bathroom before bed. The "pee boner" during the middle of the night really sucks. If you wake up in the middle of the night, try and go to the bathroom again.

I don't like baby oil as a lubricant. It stinks and attracts odor causing bacteria. Bacteria is a big concern for me while locked. Things aren't exactly "airy" and there's limited circulation when locked. Bacterial infection is a real concern. I use hair shampoo in the shower. Hold the end of the cage up and point the pee slot straight up in the air. Squirt a few drops of hair shampoo (really any mild body soap will work) and then place a finger over the pee slot in the end of the cage. Now work the cage back and forth vigorously.... as if you were jerking off. Get that soap all over in there. Then I use the shower wand to rinse thoroughly. Again, push/pull the cage back and forth vigorously to rinse.

Stay hydrated and use a little lube if necessary. I like to use a little baby powder but sometimes forget.

This is probably a costly solution but I love my tempurpedic bed it was money well spent on a good nights sleep. I can sleep on my stomach no problem if I want to, it just takes a minute for the bed to conform around me (and the cage). I really learned to appreciate it when I was away on business and used a regular mattress, I had to change the position that I slept to accommodate the tube.

Also, stick with it and "decide" that this is what you want to do and you will be amazed at what you can accomplish. It will get better and you will get to where this is just normal and you don't think about it so much that you get hard and can't sleep.

I am making the assumption here that you have experimented with the ring sizes and spacers and that you have found a size and spacing that you can comfortably wear all day and it is only sleeping in it that is the problem.

If that is the case then I believe it is only a matter of getting used to it and time will fix the problem.

If it is not the case that you can put it on in the morning and wear it comfortably all day then I suggest you continue to experiment with the rings and spacers until you find the combination that fits all day and I'll bet the nights will be better also.
