We have been doing chastity on and off for about a year. We do involve a lot of kink in our relationship and that works for us, I understand that it’s not for everyone. He pointed me to this forum because we’re now looking to do chastity 24/7 as part of a FLR and I really wanted to learn more about it. It’s been a blessing to read all the threads, there’s truly a wealth of information here and reading everyone’s post and answers has taught me more than most of the books I’ve read so far. I think to learn about people’s actual experiences, struggles and success is much more valuable than the fantasies that you read about in most places. Chastity is not perfect, it will seldom be and it changes with the needs and desires of each couple, simply understanding that has given me much more confidence in knowing that I can be the type of Mistress I want to be and I don’t need to worry about following anyone else’s rules.

Think your statement is right on! There is no right or wrong way to do this. Sometimes conflict can develop when the chaste male and the keyholder have different ideas about how it should be done. That can be avoided by simply communicating. In my relationship, there was a lot of conflict in the beginning, but she eventually made it clear that, if we were going to do male chastity, we were going to do it her way.

I am DarlingsMistress’ sub. As My Mistress mentioned, we have been playing with chastity on and off for about a year. Mistress has now decided that I will remain locked on a somewhat permanent bases, and that it will not be play. I have noticed that the male is usually the first to join. I know that I am not alone, but I do think our situation is in the minority. While I did introduce Mistress to chastity, the evolution happened quite quickly (please point me to the correct place to post that). She now fully embraces it as if it was her idea, and has learned a great deal from CF.

While not new to kink in general, I've recently discovered the world of chastity kind of by accident even though I have in the past seen it in porn and the like. It was never anything interesting, not a turn-on, but since recently exploring my subby side - I consider myself a switch - I ran across a few blogs, one thing lead to another and I bought a device on the whim. Since then, I've been reading more and more and have meanwhile broken up with my (also switchy) girlfriend for unrelated reasons, but the chastity stuck with me.

@@DarlingforMistress, the best way too tell others about your experiences as you progress is to start a thread in the Journey forum. I have one and M'Lady, who is also a member, post her thoughts to it from time to time. I think she has something similar in the Keyholders area but, since the men can't read anything there, I'm not sure how it is set up.
