Just thought I'd share a quick update on my progress.

Oh yeah sorry about that. I assumed you were contrasting it with my ability to hold off for two weeks. I think it would be a very interesting headspace to experience the device as more or less your default state. I do worry about showering with the supplied lock. As for you other question I think it would be very interesting to give the other half the keys and let him decide. Last night we sort of played around with the idea a little. Without saying anything to him  I went to bed a little early, locked it in place and placed both keys on his side of the bed while did some reading. I don't think you have to worry about it if you are only doing so occasionally. I had one that stayed locked with daily showers for 5 weeks and didn't have any trouble with it. The same lock had seen many trips in to the ocean and swimming pools too. The only thing I did to maintain it was add a couple drops of oil (gun oil - not the sex lube but the kind you use on real guns) about once a week.
