Anybody smart here?

Post by thumper »

OK, well, that didn't come out right. How about, any really clever math-types around?

Here's the deal. Ever since I got my Steelheart, I've recognized that the tube had a larger interior volume than the my old CB6K. What I'm trying to find out is, how much larger? And what size tube would one get if one wanted a SH tube that was the same as the CB6K tube? Trial and error is not much of an option with expensive German steel flying back and forth across the Atlantic.

The SH tube is straightforward enough. It's 105mm long and 35mm in diameter. The only complicating factor is that the PA fixing does take up some interior space. The CB6K is far tricker, I think. My configuration of spacers and tube was 110mm long, but the end of it never filled (hence my decision to go with a 105mm tube in the SH). However, as most of us know, the CB6K tube is not a circular. That is, it's wider than it is tall. Plus, it opens up at the end into a slightly larger space. How the hell do you figure that?

I'm having flashback to high school math tests...

A man wearing a plastic chastity device leaves on a westbound train moving at 55 MPH at 6:00 AM. Another man wearing a steel chastity device leaves on an eastbound train travelling at 65 MPH at 7:30 AM. Based on this information, how much hornier is the steel chastity man? Wait, WTF?

Yes, I know I could bang my head against Google trying to figure this out, but I'm not even clear on where to start. Math was never my strong suit. In fact, in my deck math wasn't any kind of suit. It was the joker cards.

Area of an ellipse (which is close enough) is major radius * minor radius * pi (3.1428). So take the width, divde by 2, height, divide by 2, then multiply those two, then multiply times pi. To get the volume, take the length, multiply times the area. Fudge up to factor in the head. The fact that the length is curved changes things a little, but we're close enough, and I'm not up for calculus right now.

An empirical way to do it if you have a precise way to measure volume is to wrap it with several layers of plastic wrap (or maybe a condom), fill it with water, and measure how much you put in.

Funny you should ask this. Devs sizing post got me motivated to make this chart this morning, I just added your steelheart to the end.

Not sure if this is what you were looking for but it is interesting none the less.

Code: Select all

Diameter length Area in^2 Volume in^3
Jailbird #2 1 1/8 2 1/4 0.99 2.24
Jailbird #1 1 3/8 2 1/2 1.48 3.71
Approx CB6000S 1 3/8 2 1/2 1.48 3.71
Approx CB6000 1 3/8 3 1/4 1.48 4.83
Steelheart 35x105mm 1.38 4 1/8 1.50 6.18
Devs Jailbird 1 1/4 2 1.23 2.45
When I am fully erect I calculate my volume is about 14.43, no wonder I feel a little confined in my Jailbird #2

Sorry about all the "."'s I couldn't figure out how to keep the editor from compressing multiple spaces in to just one.

ETA - I am not smart, do not trust my calculations or any other assumptions. Or for that matter anything else that comes out of my mouth or through my keyboard.

That's a really good idea.

I added it to the chart above.

Thumper, thank you for formatting the chart, looks much better like that.

Augmenting the idea of filling it with water, you might also consider trying some Pla-Do in each tube to help with a visual representation of the space. You could also manipulate the clay to give you a better idea of what you need.

In fact, maybe you could send the clay model along to see if they have any better ideas.

I could just visualize what your device would look like if the clay got "squished" in the mail lol... I really don't know anything about the device your talking about but was wondering how you'd get the mold out of the tube without messing it (the mold) up, but on the same train of thought...
Why don't you instead make a model of you penis, I guess first with wax then use that cast as a mold to pour in plaster, and send that? Most art or hobby stores could help you with the supplies, of course say your doing your foot for custom shoes :p
