Visit to the Docs

Post by AJandDL »

So I had an over 40s check last week not thinking anything about the fact I was in my cage. Wasn't with my usual GP was a referral after a knee injury anyway, long story short, I was caged at the time, didn't think anything down there would be looked at, but turns out they did and now said doctor saw everything.

So after 5 mins of mortifying embarrassment and him being a little less than professional, he has suggested I tell my GP about our current lifestyle, he didn't really make any sense to me as to why I would need to do this. Can anyone shed any light on it. Does/can long term denial cause issues down there? I've done a little research online but can't see anything...

3 weeks in now (its the longest I've been in) and its frustratingly blissful so far, D is loving being waited on hand and foot and I really enjoy being kept like this. I've never made so many brews and I can't say cleaning the house at 6am is coming naturally to me, but its less chores for her and I really enjoy the dominance she is giving and how submissive its making me.

I'm just worried now after what the doctor has said about this causing problems in future...

For people who don't know about our lifestyle choices/kinks, revelation can come as a bit of a shock - it is counter-intuitive to most folks. I'm sure this applies to medical professionals also.

The strong consensus is that what we do is safe - so long as we're sensible and don't ignore pains and chafing. I'm sure that the Doc is just doing what he's trained to do, which is minimise any medical risk. But in this case, I think that it is we chastity practitioners who are the experts.

I also suspect that your doctor's done a bit of Googling since your visit :-)

i would suggest that you don’t visit that doctor again, sounds very unprofessional to me. i am always caged even at the doctors and so far haven’t had it “discovered” but if that was to happen i already have my explanation locked in “at our age MsM and i like to add some spice to our love life and this is what we’re into at the moment”. It doesn’t need or require comment from my doctor and they would get a very terse response from me if they even attempted to lecture me about it. Its certainly no worse than piercings in that area which are surprisingly common !!

Why wear your cage to the doctors? Is ther a chance you will jerk off if unlocks at his office? Sex games are fun but as an old BDSM could once told us, don't bring your kinks into your real life when you can avoid to. We are married for 50 years and been into BDSM and other fetishes doe longer than that. We have had a great time because we leave our fetishes at home. Even then, in the bedroom unless like in chastity you have to take it out of the bedroom. I wear 24/7 for 11 years but only when home. I am lucky in that I work from home so it is not a problem. However, there is no reason for me to wear it when I leave the house. If I wanted to orgasm I simply can do so at home when locked up. Plus I rarely, if every remember jerking off in my car or in a public restroom.

There is no need to put yourself in a position to be embarrassed. I have worn panties and bras outside my home but never anyplace where anyone would notice. To me my cage is like a wedding ring. A symbol because everyone who is into chastity knows how easy it is to cum when locked up. You can see all the different ways in porn. I think perhaps too many people place too much emphasis on their cages sometimes as perhaps we all do when we first start out. It is a symbol like a wedding ring and nothing else. Easy to orgasm in and as I wrote in another post, easy to take off without the key. I remember when I joined the Army they made everyone take off their wedding rings because they can get caught in things and rip your finger of like when jumping out of a Duce and a half truck. Everyone bitched and moaned but know what. They were still married without their rings and those that were faithful, remained fateful. Those that were not keep on cheating on their wives. Their rings did not change a thing.

i don’t usually read SteveOD’s posts but as this was in part replying to mine i did. i wear my cage all the time “unless” i expect there to be an issue something a normal doctors visit doesn’t include looking at my “bits” so why would i expect that ?? Only wearing it when it suits you makes it pointless imho. Do each to their own but i dont think the op expected the “viewing” and so it comes down to the old adage of “shit happens”, you could be wearing yours and have a medical event and end up in hospital, no difference. This is not a case of somebody purposely bring somebody else into their kink, it’s a case of shit happens.

In reply to SteveOD, I don't live with my partner 24/7 yet, I am only there 4 days per week when my kids are with their mum. When I'm not there, she keeps me locked, when I'm with her, she releases me to clean and to be teased (if I'm lucky). I had no idea that this was part of the visit or of course I wouldn't have been locked at the time.

But also, I have no say in when I am or am not caged. Since we first talked about caging me, I gave her my orgasms, thats what it is to me, she decides what I can do and when and I love that. So even if I said I'm going to the docs, hes going to check my testicles for lumps and my prostate, please can I be unlocked, she would have every right to say no... That's were I am, that's where we are and I love that side of our relationship.

With regards to the doctor himself, if I put myself in his shoes, I honestly don't know what my reaction would be, I wasn't upset with him at all, I have had a chat with my GP this morning, he said do the basics, avoid pinching, chafing and discomfort, with regards to erections and orgasms, you're body is really good at recycling so it won't cause any long term effects, he even asked if I need a doctors not should I get stopped going through security checks at airports... I'm guessing he was expecting the call and googled away. I was really impressed by how professional he was...

Someone here called their device a piece of intimate jewelry. “Genius”!
I am 24/7.,should it seem that I will be examined there for whatever reason, a simple notification of our “intimate jewelry” would and should be sufficient.

Sounds like that doc was completely lacking in knowledge and was talking out his ass. Some of us have been doing this for a very long time (about 20 years for me), if there were going to be problems I should think we would have found out by now.

The only thing I have found with me is that if I do not ejaculate for a long time it can turn thick and pasty with a kind of yellowish color. I tend to not have nocturnal emissions (only once in 50 years) so I just make sure that I get some out at least once every three months.

My PCP knows, as do my GP and shrink at the VA. My shrink because it is part of my mental make up. The other 2 because there is a chance of accidental exposure.

This is what my wife and I call it, since its pretty shiny (Polished steel, not chrome). And the rule is that if I am wearing my jewelry then she should be wearing hers (key on an anklet). Never been discovered myself, but she occasionally gets questions about the key. Previously it was an easy explanation, its the key to my husbands heart, but now that her anklet has 2 letters on it (K and H) she has to be a bit more inventive.
