Where to hide the backup keys to my chastity cage?

Post by nicknick »

I am meeting a beautiful girl who is into the the bdsm lifestyle and I think I found a comfortable chastity cage suited for long term use (A-278) , so I opened up to her about my desire to be locked up. We don't live in the same place so she said I should have a place in my house to keep a key in case I need it (if we decide to do it)

What should I use? Would this work?

https://www.amazon.es/AmazonBasics-Segu ... =8-11&th=1

She could give me the code if I need it, and change it later, I guess

Just get some coin envelopes, have her seal an emergency key in it, sign her name across the flap, and give it to you. If you need to access it, you just rip the envelop open, but of course that means she can tell you did so. Easy initial solution, work up to the more complicated ones.

The coin envelope is a good option, but maybe too large to carry on my wallet.

I saw another solution too: what about wrapping a piece of tape around the teeth of the key and my keyholder write something on it?
If the tape is gone or all messed up, she'll know.
A tape as simple as this could work:

This was the one I bought in the end if anyone is searching for a solution like me:

I think is neat and a good solution to have a backup available and for the keyholder to know if you used the key.

I made one similar to this out of a scrap piece of copper tubing. I used a hacksaw to cut a groove for the top of the key and drilled holes for the security tag. After a little filing and polishing, it's ready for use.
It works well to hold the key and visually, it's frustrating to see the key almost within reach, but not quite.

Oh, cool! I am not that skilled with those things but I can see it's doable with the proper tools
And yeah, looks dangerously tempting to always have the key in your pocket xD

There's many creative solutions for isolating the key, both homemade and commercial. Personally for me, a key locked in a small container is most frustrating and effective all at the same time. But that's just me I suppose.

If you have access to a 3D printer you can make one like this:

Total cost is about 10 cents USD plus the security tag

One disadvantage of that amazon combination lock "book" - it only has three number combination wheels, so might be relatively easy to crack. - and if you get given the code the open it when you're apart, it's a phaff to change the combination and lock it again if you aren't supposed to know the combination going forward.

A very simple and very secure way to do it remotely is to have a small lockable container, and use a plastic numbered tag to seal it, then you just send a image or show it during a video chat to prove the key is locked away. If you have to break the tag to open you device, then just repeat with a new tag, they're quite cheap if you buy a batch of them. Your partner can request verification at any time by asking to see the known numbered tag still in place on the container.

A good container to use will be small and transparent, then the key can be seen but not accessed.
An ordinary clear plastic bottle can be secured if a hole is drilled through the neck and cap, or a TicTac container can be used, again with a hole carefully drilled through it to secure the key inside with the security tag.

A really simple way to protect the key, and make any use obvious, is to take a time dated receipt from the grocery store, Wal Mart, etc,, lay the key on top of it, and place a piece of 2 inch clear mailing tape over the key and seal it. Also, Amazon sells 3 M wallet sized lamination pouches, that can be activated by use of an ordinary iron. While I have not tried it, I see no reason why it would not work. Insert a signed business card, etc. along with the key. Costs about 15 cents each.
