Thanks again for al the get well wishes and condolences on losing Stan. The recovery is going good. Feeling strong enough to resume most of my daily routine. Still have a couple of days of restrictions on lifting and getting the entry site for the cath wet. (I can shower but not soak the site like in a bath or swimming.)

My oldest son is going to come around as much as he can to help with the heavy clean up work. We ran a couple of ads on FetLife for some help and have 2 good responses so that will help a lot.

Stan's passing was softened by the fact that he decided to stop dialysis and go into hospice care himself. Surfing the net when I was confined to bed I even found a bit of humor that I think he would have loved.

I'm just catching up. So sorry to hear that you both went thru this. I had a minor heart attack 2.5 years ago due to blockage. Double stent, things have been just fine since. Glad your procedure also seems to have been successful! But what terrible timing, just when your brother passed. Terrible news @KittensBoyToy. Best wishes for your full recovery, and for your time of grieving.

Glad you're on the mend. Sorry to hear about your brother. I never met him (that I know anyway...) but that cartoon means I'll always remember him - must've had a great sense of humor.
