When I wear my device my left ball starts to hurt after an hour or so and then my back and stomach begin to hurt. This last for a couple of days after removing it. Is this somewhat common?

Would need a LOT more information to really help, but no that is not normal.

Sounds like your base ring is too tight or sitting too low.

I agree, base ring sounds like it's probably too tight. Try a bigger ring if it can be changed. If you have to get another device, maybe try a different design, too. Different devices can feel much better, even with the same size rings depending on how they fit, sit on your junk, etc.
