I've had problems with my CB6000 over the years, and eventually, I had the large 2" ring break where the pins go through. I replaced it with their 2.5" ring, and suddenly I can wear it all day long. It' s still not perfect for night time wear for me, but the chafing issues are gone, and I can wear it all day long now. If anyone else is a bit more girthy, have a try with either the 2 1/8 or 2.5" replacement rings.
