35 years ago, I took a course called business writing. The main takeaway from the course was SHORT PARAGRAPHS!!! Break paragraphs up whenever there is the slightest reason to.

A recent shift in my job duties has me interfacing a lot more with legal. They really are great people, but they share a collection of idiosyncrasies, especially in written communications. They don't believe in using periods. It's almost as if they're anti-punctuationists. The only reason for a period is to end a paragraph. A 500 word sentence/paragraph what contains a minimum of twenty commas.

I'm using this experience as a mechanism to practice patience.

Having some good conversations with the wife and her constant question is "Why?"

I have answered her the best that I know how and as honestly as I think I can but my answers all tend to be around the edge of an idea. Explaining why something turns you on is usually followed by "because it does." The answer is unfulfilling for the one asking the question and I want to help her understand.

The reason we started is actually irrelevant, the reason we are continuing is much more important.

My Wife gets a huge amount of pleasure from the level of response she gets from me when she teases me.
