My first punishment... OUCH!

Last week I was able to be off work for Christmas, and I was kept locked up. Wednesday I was given instructions to get the dishes done and the trash/recycling to the curb so things could be neat/tidy when we got back from our holiday travels. I got one load of dishes in the dishwasher and took trash and recycling out to the cans, then headed inside to start working on our budget for next month (which I also completed before she came back from Christmas shopping.)
When she got back, sure, I had gotten one load of dishes into the dishwasher, but she had wanted them all done. Also, the trash and recycling was into the cans, but the cans weren't out to the curb.
Now, she had NEVER punished me before, so what came next was very unexpected. We've only been practicing chastity for a few months, and she's never used physical punishment or additional days to the lockup as punishment at all. So this was very unexpected.
She told me to go to the bedroom and take my pants and underwear off and lay on my back on the bed. I did. She came in and locked the door. She reviewed her instructions about the dishes, trash, and recycling and how I had failed to comply. She said she was going to punish me, and if I took the punishment, she'd unlock me later in the evening for sex as a reward for getting the budget done for next month. I didn't feel like I had a lot of choices, so I agreed, figuring I'd get an over-the-knee spanking, which I've told her I fantasize about. Nope.
She got a rubber band off her dresser, and wrapped it over my cage and over my balls. So far, not too bad. She said we were going to do 3 rounds of 5 snaps in different positions. This was the first round, and she was going to do the first 3 snaps and I had to do the last 2. She lifted my cage up so she could get the rubber band from the bottom side and pulled it away from my balls (anchored by my cage.) She let it go and it SNAPPED against my balls. I think I saw stars, that hurt like hell! I tried not to scream. She gave me a minute to recover and then pulled it back again. SNAP! I could feel my eyes start to water a little. I grunted through the pain. She gave me another minute to recover. Then she did the third one. The pain was intense! Definately not the over-the-knee fantasy I had. She got her phone and set a timer that she doesn't show me. She told me I had to snap the next two before the timer ran out or she was going to start the whole punishment over, and if I didn't pull the rubber band far enough for her satisfaction she'd start the punishment over, then she tapped start on the timer. I didn't want to waste any time, so I grabbed it and pulled the band as far as I could, winced in anticipation and let go. It hurt bad, but the band had flown off the cage! The timer was running! I got up, searched frantically through the bed covers, found the thing, got back into position, got the band back around the cage, pulled it back and let it go. SNAP! My eyes were watering,and I grunted in agony. I wasn't sure if I had pulled back far enough on the last one in my haste to beat the timer. She said I had 10 seconds to spare, and I had done well enough pulling it back to move to the 2nd set of 5.
I got another minute to recover, then was instructed to roll onto my stomach and bury my face into my pillow. She pulled the cage down between my legs and wrapped the rubber band around. Now I could feel her pull the thing back, but couldn't see how far and couldn't see if she was about to let it go. Each one, I could tell she was holding it back a long time just to up the anticipation on my part, and each snap hurt worse than the previous one. I was screaming in pain into my pillow and in full tears after the second snap. It hurt so bad I couldn't even stay focused enough to count where we were in the set. She gave me a fair recovery time between each snap, but part of me wanted to go faster just to get it over with. She patted me on the butt and told me to stand for the last set of 5. She said we were going to do these as fast as possible and that I had to stay standing or we were going to start the set over. I was already in tears and didn't know if I could take another snap, but it seemed somewhat merciful that it would be over soon now.
She grabbed the cage and anchored the rubber band to the top of the cage with her thumb, reached down with the other hand and pulled down. She didn't hesitate for anticipation value at all, she just let it go, and as soon as it snapped she grabbed it again and snapped it right away again. Those last 5 snaps went by in probably less than 10 seconds, and when it was done she said I could lay down. I laid on the bed and tried to keep my crying soft.
The whole rest of the day my balls were extremely sensitive to the touch. Any movement (walking, shifting while sitting, anything) was painful on my balls. That night when she let me out for my reward sex, my balls had raised puffiness and had skin bruises all over. It was nice to have the release, but that's the most painful sex I've ever had. She was on top and made me pound into her from the bottom, and every thrust was painful as my balls bounced.
The next day, most of the painful sensitivity was gone, but I was still fairly bruised. On Sunday (4 days later) There were still light bruises, but they were much better.
We haven't talked about it since it happened. And for the months prior to it since we had started chastity, she had said she didn't want to punish me. I'm generally a pretty good husband, even without chastity, but obviously her frustration has a boil over point. I'm sure she'd gotten to that point before chastity, but I never paid attention to it since there was never a consequence. At some point she and I are going to have to talk about it now, because that punishment was a real punishment, nothing like the "fantasy punishment" I had in my head. I hadn't noticed any signs of her hitting that boil over point, but I probably wasn't paying much attention. I need to talk to her to find out what her signs of that are, because that punishment is something I never want to experience again. I wouldn't mind my fantasy punishments, but not that, that was the real thing. Far far far from my fantasies.

You will learn...very quickly my friend, obedience to a dominant woman is not a "fantasy event" and findoing out what makes her "boil over" will be something you will try and prevent DAILY!... the scary thing is once a dominant woman has punished you with intent and to "tears" (and not play) it changes everything

Wow! Things have certainly changed for you since we last chatted, sounds like it's getting pretty serious. I don't know how I'd feel about that punishment either. It sounds hot when you read it but a little scary at the same time lol.

The thing that surprised me is that it was completely out of the blue. Until that day, she was adamant against spanking me or inflicting any kind of pain. She had even said that she's down to try about anything as long as it doesn't involve pain or other people, so I was shocked that it was happening. I don't know what changed, and that confuses me. I may need to get some clarification before a next punishment occurs. She's even been extremely inconsistent on making me wear my cage. It's just very confusing.

Huh, sounds like she want to catch you in the act or doing something you're not supposed to so she can punish you again lol. I'm starting to have a real tough time when my KH allows me a free day. They are fewcanfvfar between but I almost think she's naive enough to think I have that much self control after I've been caged for a week with no play. I must admit I'm a little jealous but at the same time don't know if I'd want my balls snapped with a rubber band lol!

I have considered asking my wife to punish me for things that annoy her but was thinking of real punishment too (not phunishment). You mention you NEVER want to experience that again. You might want to talk to the wife and tell her just how hard it was. They don't have balls so don't know how hypersensitive they are. What is your thought on the way forward. No more punishment, or different methods?

She started by just putting the rubber band over the cage, then working it down to my balls so the top of the rubber band was on top of my cage (near the base of the shaft) and the bottom of the rubber band was underneath my balls. For the last 5 snaps, she held my cage with her left hand and used her thumb to hold the top of the rubber band against the top of the cage so the rubber band wouldn't fly off in between snaps and she could move to the next snap quickly (it did fall off a few times between snaps for the first 10, including between the 2 that I had to do.)

We used to use a cb6000s knockoff, so she had gotten a package of assorted rubber bands at the dollar store so I could wrap one around my lock so it didn't go "click click click" while I walked around at work. Since switching we hadn't used the rubber bands at all. Until last week. She used one of the biggest/widest one in the package, which is about big enough to loosely fit around a person's wrist and maybe 3/16" wide. I swear on the first 10 snaps, if she had pulled it back further it would have broken the rubber band. The last 5 she was more concerned about speed to the next snap.

It's something that I would like to talk about with her before any further punishment. The reality is, I could physically survive that particular punishment if it wasn't done more than once in a week (the last bruising is completely gone today, could have even been yesterday, I didn't inspect yesterday.) But, I wouldn't want to have this punishment. This wasn't part of the chastity fantasy when we first started, it wasn't part of the "punishment fantasy." Since she'd said she doesn't want to hurt me, and this is a drastic change from that, I would need some type of confirmation that this was a strange, out-of-the ordinary occurrence that I shouldn't worry about happening again, or, did she change her mind on not wanting to inflict pain and now she's ok with it. If she is, then it's another step in our chastity journey. I admitted to her a couple weeks ago (after 8 days in chastity) that I liked being submissive to her and wanted to be 100% submissive to her. She told me she wanted to be my dominant wife. We didn't at that point lay down ground rules, we're kind of learning what that means to each of us as we go. If this type of punishment is going to be a regular thing as part of our relationship, I'm still willing to be 100% submissive to her. Sure, it won't be the fantasy punishment I thought I wanted when she first took the key to my cage, but it'll be a part of submitting to her and learning how to make her happy to avoid regular punishment like that.
