I am mid 50s and in the last several years our sex life has changed, we rarely fuck anymore. sex is mostly mutual masturbation or I give her oral. I would say it was in my late 40s that my idea of an orgasm changed. I was able to recharge quickly so 3-4 in a night was possible, Now it takes me quite a while to recharge and I enjoy the tease and buildup even if denied an orgasm.
