A month is not a long time for some of us. I have gone almost 4 months and one month is about our shortest period of orgasm denial. I do not even feeling very horny until week three. 
My wife usually lets me orgasm on holidays and special occasions. There seems to be a holiday or special occasion, almost every month with a few periods of 2-3 months inbetween.
