I was just curious to know who initiated the wearing of the chastity cage in your relationship.

In our relationship, I initiated it as the one to be locked in. Though indifferent at first, the Keyholder has warmed to the idea.

My wife did and I was quite curious. At first, I thought it was just a try it once kinda thing but boy was I wrong. We both enjoy it a lot now.

Interesting. I added option 4 just to cover the bases, but never expected a vote on it. If I had to speculate:
The wife wanted her husband to wear one but refused to hold the key,
A friend, therapist etc. proposed it to a couple thinking it could solve a particular problem,
