We don't have much in the way of rules. The one rule we do have: on the rare occasions when I've been let out, she only has to say "cage" and I have to immediately stop whatever I'm doing, wrangle the cage back on, and allow her to click the lock shut. It's usually after she's got what she wanted from me, but she has been known to say "cage" a few seconds after unlocking me (and then cackle insanely).

The only problem is that that word is now so loaded for me that the instant she says it, my body reacts in a way that inevitably makes it harder (as it were) to get the cage back on.

It's frequently preceded by the command: "Out".

An example recent usage:

I can see that word being used as a fun couples game. She says out and then you are waiting for her to casually use cage in conversation on the phone or with you and off you go to hook back up. In a bar or at the theatre or shopping mall or car or the city park. Could be an interesting game.
