If you have a plastic device just carry it through security or... let them bump it, so what if you have plastic on your dick lol :)
Do you mean in your hand luggage. And is this for internal or international flights. We are off to NY in November and my gf doesn't want me unlocked while we are there if it can be helped.
We are in NY and we actually decided we will be flying, in May, to Disney World in Florida. I will take the device in my carry on bag (I'm assuming that's what you mean by "hand luggage") and that way, if they do feel the need to look at it and see what the curved metal thing is in my bag.... I can deal with it, not hubby to get embarrassed. It won't embarrass me in the least. :)

Thanks LadynMonkey.

Yes I ment your carrybag. I was thinking of getting a plastic device before we go. I currently have a metal one. That way when we do the touristy things where they have metal detectors there won't be any problems.

However, I am often stopped, due to metal in my shoes, they check me manually. They will bump in to something hard  . Does anyone have experience with this? Please help me.
I used a silicone cage to fly off on holiday to Zante, Greece with my Princess last year. She used a plastic security coded lock to ensure my behaviour on the plane and changed it for the padlock while there. Fortunately, I didn't get a body search or have to go through one of those modern x-ray machines. However, my Princess and I agreed that if it was seen by security that would quite simply be honest and tell them that she kept me in chastity   . What could they say? Embarrassing? Shouldn't be really - it's none of there business really and we shouldn't feel embarrassed about being in consensually enforced abstinence. Difficult for some shy folk I know. I've always been a bit of a show off in the past and wear small tanga swimming costumes on hol's - even now with the cage. I would NEVER want to offend the prudish people in the world but in reality they shouldn't be looking that closely if that's their way. Anyway - Good luck friend! ;) ChrissysProperty

I'm on board with this depending on if I'm flying alone or with family or friends.

I flew by myself to Charlotte NC and wore a CB6000s with plastic lock several years ago and went through the backscatter x-ray scanner here in Boston. I wasn't questioned but had I been I would have explained my situation to TSA. Honestly, if they didn't believe me I was prepared to go into a room with a male TSA agent, drop my pants and say to him, "There, do you really think this poses a threat"?

I flew with my family last year to Europe and went unlocked since I didn't want to embarrass my wife or have to explain myself to my children if I was stopped and searched.

I went through security 4 times now wearing my jailbird (SLC, Vegas, and Houston). No issue with the body scanner. Have not gone through metal detector though. Apparently the body scanner focuses on bulges not metal. In fact they supposedly blur the private areas. Before I tried this, I contacted TSA and they just said that they have no policy on CB's and if noticed I would be subject to a pat down and at worst a private screening. I figure enough people have piercings in that area now, even a metal detector could be explained away without too much effort.

I started a reply about the elaborate things you could do in terms of having it off before security, putting it back on after, then having a key you can use to unlock before the return flight(s). It is starting to seem like way too much like some kind of fantasy. If you are traveling alone, then you have to be trusted to either go cage free or have a key so you can lock and unlock at the appropriate times. It's that simple. Having the cage in your hand luggage isn't going to be an issue.

Anything else is just too weird for me, at least. You don't have the Hope diamond down there.
