I've had the base ring of my Steelheart on since November 2012 and the tube only being removed briefly a handfull of times. It's been a busy year with mucho denial. Anyway, today the temperature dropped dramatically and I walked 45mins to work. I could tell from past experience of other cbs that something was up down there. By the time I got to work one of my nuts had gotten cold enough to squeeze past the base ring and hide itself for warmth. Ouch, that's unpleasant. The gap isn't much and I'm surprised it was possible. Now, after more than a year, I have to take the whole thing off and put it all back on. It's very form fitting so that won't be pleasant either (unless my wife let's me have some fun while I'm free!) Guess I'm throwing on long underwear from now on and hope that does the trick.

One time with a slightly larger ring I had a similar thing happen, I didn't think it was possible either. I was at work and had a choice, either break out the emergency key or deal with one ball hanging out all day. I decided to stuff the littler fucker back through the ring. That was really unpleasant but subsided after a while. Since then I have downsized the base ring so the gap is smaller and this is not likely to happen again.
