When the skin gets sore to touch I find it best to suffer a bit of pain and massage my sac and balls and to gently stretch the skin for a few minutes.
The pain does not go right away but in the next five to ten minutes generally. I did suffer this pain more often in the past but as someone else commented it may be to do with the skin stretching due to the compression of the balls being forced lower.
I have not found that lubrication helps much either. Over a period of weeks it tend to become less of a problem.

I find Lanacane useful. Don't know if it's available, or under what name, out of the UK, but its main ingredient is benzocaine, local anasthetic (or however you spell it :) ). Works a treat almost instantly

I used some body cream that says make the skin more elastic and it work

But I think lub is the way...
I use vaseline on the base ring and the scrotum. it last all day and you get a good slide ^_^
