And the hygiene issues seem to be very specific to individual wearers. My husband and kelmag are the founding members of the "must be out everyday to bathe" club and I really don't think I'm going to budge my husband on this, no matter how hard I try. On the other hand, likes2blocked tells me he's been in his JB for 5 weeks straight without even a 2 second break. I am sure he's not stinking to high heaven.
Just like we all have individual preferences of how often we shave or wash our hair, this seems to be more of the same...

Re: Goodbye JB. Hello WM?
I hope to be in more than I'm out. Actually, I'm sure I will be. The WM seems to be a good mix between a cage and a tube. Not as much as the Pet Trap, true, but the WM still has some good coverage.
And I did ask MM to shorten the length to 2" on it. He says it's always better to go a bit short rather than long. Jnuts comment about the weight maybe pulling it away also got my attention. So, 2" it is.

Re: Goodbye JB. Hello WM?
I think I have mentioned it here before, but the WM came first, design-wise. People wanted a bit more coverage and he turned the rod on the side of the WM into the flat metal piece that is on the Pet Trap (on the side).
I really like the amount of coverage on the WM and the way it feels. My latest fantasy is to get it engraved but not sure how I'd accomplish that. I can't quite see myself going into Cross Jewelers and asking to have "boi" engraved on my husband's chastity device. LOL. I'm a ballsy sort of gal but even that might push my own personal limits!
As for the in more than out, yes, I wish for 24/7 (everyone here has heard this over and over again) but Ab is quite adamant. However, as he pointed out to me last night, he locks himself right back up, everyday, and hasn't "cheated" on me once with his hand. So he is living up to his end of the bargain.

Re: Goodbye JB. Hello WM?
That's the key for me. It's more about not "cheating", then actually being in a device 24/7, at least for me. I'm so intent on NOT slipping up, that I want to be locked at times when I would be at higher risk...i.e., alone at home. On a related note, I've been doing well...haven't touched "her penis" without permission since last Friday...and that my friends, is a long time for me...esp, considering we don't have the device yet. Sorry if I'm off topic on this thread!Dev wrote:...However, as he pointed out to me last night, he locks himself right back up, everyday, and hasn't "cheated" on me once with his hand. Re: Goodbye JB. Hello WM?
I am waiting for you to order the new tube for the steelheart. I wonder if you had a shorter, narrower tube like the jailbird if that would affect the ease of cleaning. With the larger tube there is more room to get the nozzle of the spray bottle in there to clean. With all that meat crammed in a smaller tube it may not be as easy. Just curious.thumper wrote:It's definitely true that open designs are quicker to clean, but they're not necessarily more hygienic in between cleanings. At least in my experience.
Also, you mentioned a steelworx device that is more like the jailbird, which one were you referring too?
I love the look of 'The Looker' and have been considering ordering one with a removable penis plug. Not quite as hot as the permanent penis plug but I don't know if I could do that permanent (or maybe at all).

Re: Goodbye JB. Hello WM?
When I order the shorter tube, it probably won't be narrower. The next size down is too narrow, I think. Also, I do plan on leaving a bit of extra room at the end of the tube for my PA and the fixing. Not nearly as much as I have now, though.
The Looker is indeed the one I was referring to. It's the closest to the JB he's got. I actually to quite like the look of the JB's cage and would definitely pick up a SW device that more closely mimicked it.

Very true. Everybody has different body chemistry. Even the foods we normally eat would impact the kind of issues we're talking about.Dev wrote:And the hygiene issues seem to be very specific to individual wearers.

Re: Goodbye JB. Hello WM?
The sSeelworxx devices only become alot more expensive when you add options such as the PA fixing and extra base rings. The minimum extras I would order are the comfort ring on the tube and the integrated lock. I just logged into my Steelworxx account and got the following price for the "Braveheart," a sort-of-open design:
Braveheart: 129.41
Comfort Ring: 15.97
Integrated Lock: 77.31
Shipping: 18.00
All prices in Euro, without VAT. At current exchange rates, that's $319 to your US door.
I wouldn't actually buy a Braveheart though, as it looks like the design could cause a lot of pinching.
If Steelworxx has a design you like, then the biggest problem I see is sizing, but that just might be me. I got both the 45mm and 42mm (1 5/8"), and after three weeks or so, I'm already wearing the 42mm semi-comfortably, and it looks like 40mm might have been the size to go for. But I definitely needed the 45mm ring when I first put it on, and the 45mm ring is exceptionally comfortable except for when the whole package is sliding down.

I haven't tried a JB (but one day I intend to), but is it really true that the small tube deters erections, as in making them smaller? I would think you get pressure on the A-ring no matter what.I really want a smaller cage. This one doesn't deter an erection much if at all. It just makes is crazy painful
