How can we talk about what it is we do, in real life?

I was at work the other day—it was Monday and a colleague was complaining about her weekend. ... Too bad a person can’t bring up male chastity in a day-to-day conversation.

And I commented, How do you describe a sex life that has more foreplay and more orgasms for the woman?
I don't think we have to start with "the misses locks up my junk". But can we talk about this sort of thing, at all? Do you? How?

I can imagine my wife speaking to her best friend and it coming up and before I know it - she tells her most everything. Only because they talk about everything.

I think we had another thread on this topic--the idea that we can discuss very intimate details of our sex lives with hundreds of strangers on the Internet, but not breathe a word of what we are doing with chastity to a close friend. But then, I don't tend to talk about sex with friends, anyway.
I have been emailing back and forth with a woman who has discovered/embraced chastity as a way to deal with a mild ED problem with her husband--similar to what Ab and I have gone through. Her husband had tried Viagra in the past--didn't like the side effects. She said she had talked to her sister about that. Now they have found a good solution (chastity) but she can't imagine bringing that up to her sister. She is sure her sister would think she is too way out and weird. Which is too bad. I have lots of words I could use to describe chastity, but "weird" wouldn't be one of them, because it's not.

Re: Not biting your tongue - Priceless
This weekend was our night away from the kids, and part of that night was a Christmas party for a costuming club that we belong to. It was a Slumber Party theme and was held at a hotel. I wore a T-Shirt that said "Little MIss Keyholder" and had a set of keys on it, along with my pj pants. A friend asked what keys I was holding. I told him that I was tired of having kids, so I locked his dick up. The look of pure shock and "yeah right" was exactly what I expected. Those standing around all laughed and then went on to make fun of our very fertile few years. No one believed me. Little did they know that he was walking around locked and waiting to cum for the first time in over a month.

Back in my 20s I could talk about my sex life, but the people I socialize with now can barely remember what sex is anymore. Seriously, they talk about the kids, the weather, and their aches and pains. Most of them don't even make dirty jokes. My friends are so freakin' vanilla it's painful. And judging by their attitudes toward anything spicy or kinky, I don't particularly care to open up the subject.J Random reader wrote:How do you describe a sex life that has more foreplay and more orgasms for the woman?
I have, however, had conversations with acquaintances that are in their 20s and 30s. Without giving any specific information, I've casually mentioned that when I was younger, I had studied some Taoist practices that made my sex life more interesting. Nobody followed up, but I think it was because they were impressed that somebody *my* age even knew what sex was in the first place.

I always thought sex was invented by those in their 20's and 30's...

Out with other Mums today one was moaning about how messy her husband was. How we all laughed when I told them that mine stopped making a mess when I started paddling his arse with a hairbrush when he didn't do as he was told........

Re: Not biting your tongue - Priceless
I talked to my wife about this. She has one very close friend with whom she has shared our little secret. And she's jealous.
I have one friend, too, now living overseas, with whom I share intimate details of my relationship with my wife.
My other friends I assume to be rather vanilla, and sex rarely comes up as a topic. But I have often been surprised at the tolerance and lack of surprise, when topics do move on to the 'odd' behaviour of others. If only they knew...
I can and sometimes do employ innuendo, but most of my friends are Japanese, and English is not their first language, so it's lost on them!
