So, what's been the biggest surprise that male chastity has brought to your relationship?

For me, it's a waning of desire to look at pornography. I have been looking at porn since I was 12 years old. I would look at it and masturbate when our sex life wasn't going so hot. I'm 40 now, so this has been going on for 28 years - that's a lot of psychological conditioning!

I would have thought being denied orgasms would make me want it more, but it's been the exact opposite. I even went and looked at it just to test it and...nothing. Even the more "out there" stuff left me saying "eh." It all seemed forced and rather dull.

Right now, no one is sexier than my wife and nothing is hotter than her denial of me. It's been a huge surprise to me.

Probably the closeness that we have now. That and I miss her a lot when she is gone. I just like being together even when we aren't doing anything together.

Last spring I redid my home office. Before that my wife had a little space on a credenza for her laptop. We faced apart and she didn't spend much time in there. In the new configuration I have a big work desk with a return that has small meeting table built in to it. We have a nice comfy chair there and uses that as her desk. It has enough room and is comfortable enough that she actually uses it. Best of all we are facing each other even when we are both busy doing something. While this arrangement actually preceded our chastity arrangement they reinforce each other. This morning she is not here, she went to have coffee with some friends. So I am here alone and miss having her to talk with to start my day.

I'd be curious if you're still the same way in another week or so. Working backwards from 58 days and Jan 2, you've been chaste for 10 days or so? My interest in porn surfing also waned a bit until a few days ago, when I couldn't stand it, and a little bit of porn hunting ended up with me opening a 30 day hotfile account...
