Yours isn't tagged Dev. If you search for your blog on wordpress it comes up. I was surprised the amount of tag hits we got even the first 3 days, then they stopped completely.

It has settled back to our usual 300-400 hits per day now so we haven't seen much of a lasting effect. Oh well. Not bad for a blog less than 2 weeks old I guess.

That's actually really good. I didn't get to that level until my fifth month.

Actually, there were a few others. I don't have the names handy, but they are all dead links now anyway. One or two were by younger gay guys, another was by a guy who went from a plastic device to a Neosteel (I think he was in England), and there was another guy who started around when the 6ks came out. He had this idea for an anti-pullout addition, but never wrote much after that.

And then there was Allison from England, the only woman I remember, and now no longer blogging. And some guy who was reviewing devices, but hasn't posted in ages. Hmm. I'm thinking that over the last 5 years, there might have been about a dozen or so in which the focus was mainly chastity and OD (as opposed to chastity being incidental to FLR or something like that).

The thing is that most chastity blogs don't last long because once you're locked up, there's not much else going on. You really need to write about the relationship in order to keep having content.

Ironically, now that there are half a dozen new (and vanilla-ish) bloggers around, I feel less motivated to write about it. It's given me a feeling like "Oh good, I can relax now, and not be the only 'normal' guy doing this." 'Cos, for a few years, I really *was* thinking that I was the only non-bdsm / non-flr blogger, and actually felt like I had some sort of duty to help the newbies.

Hmm... I suddenly feel a blog post coming on.

I noticed his blog went away sometime in the past several months. It's too bad because it was a different perspective. Almost like Dev's but from the other side. She brought chastity to him and he seemed to struggle but then accepted it. Not in a stupid p0rn fantasy way, though. And then it all ended with a "they lived happily ever after" sort of vibe.

I think his URL was http://cb6kguy.blogspot.com/, but like I said, it's all gone to the ether now. Pity.

I was just catching up on Savage Love on my iPhone and see that Dan's corrected answer (with the links to this forum and the three blogs) is the Question of the Day for November 4th. You can clink on the links from within the app. Kinda cool...
